Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

What an amazing trip unique site seeing a lot of good people surrounded me at this place. It was super amazing and highly recommended to others.

This hotel was very disappointing. We have been guests at many Rosewood properties and been very happy and impressed with our stays. We assumed this one would measure up to the other Rosewood Hotels, but it's hard to believe this is owned by the same group. We arrived to our room which appeared dated and smelled of smoke. We were moved to another room which was basically the same, except smelled of must/mold with a hint of old stale smoke. Areas of carpet were stained, the bed sheets were piling. We were shown another room, but it was the same. The hallway leading to the fitness center consisted of a thoroughly stained carpet that was actually really gross. So hard to understand why they don't replace it. Wallpaper is peeling in the hallway with a stained dilapidated screen/partition to try to hide it. Service was just okay. Housekeeping was very late afternoon, Manager tried to be helpful about the too, but really had no tools to work with as all the rooms are the same. Restaurant food was good, but atmosphere also tired. Generally speaking this hotel is stale and made for a stay where instead of enjoying time in the room, we endured time in the room. The worst part of it all, was Dallas was sold out of all other luxury hotel rooms during this time, so we could not move. The mansion is a beautiful building with massive potential. I can only assume there is a big refresh planned to keep up with Rosewood standards. But until then, the room rates are not worth it whatsoever. *A side note: Our flight home was cancelled so we chose to stay at the Ritz-Carleton Las Colinas, and it was lovely. Topnotch service, refreshed rooms, spa, multiple dining options. Would recommend.

From the time of reservation to the time of check out, the service was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do some nice little extra things like show you around the room and call a little after you have settled in to make sure everything is good. they had some really nice complimentary chocolates and flavored tea in the room, as well as a couple of bottled waters. My room #220 was very spacious and pretty. Lighting was above average. The lotion, soap and shampoo were really nice. I attended a wedding, which was beautifully done. This is the second wedding I have been to here and I would recommend it - as a guest anyway! The food, dance floor, tables, decorations, etc were all really well done. One of the only things that surprised me was that the bath towels were a little rough. I expect much better linens at a hotel of this quality. The bedding was good, but not great. Again, I expect better than okay in a hotel of this price and reputation. The only other thing that could be improved was the valet service. The front desk was great at check out and called ahead to let the valet know I was checking out. When I walked out, I sort of expected my car to be there or to pull up soon. Instead, the people behind me in checkout got their car and the lady who seemed to be running valet was barking at the valet guys to go get mine. There was no smile or greeting for me. The poor gal seemed to be run ragged. overall, a lovely place that I would go back to.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The property abd rooms are immaculate. We booked a suite and felt at home. A single restaurant on property but the food is amazing!

I love this hotel its our third time here! The rooms are beautiful and luxurious, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating!
