Exploring the Ancient City couldn't be easier – step out, walk a few minutes, and you're in the heart of the bustling ancient town, ready to soak in the charm of its cobblestone streets and quaint shops. And after a long day of exploring, it's a leisurely and perfectly safe stroll back to the hotel in the evening. 🏋️ **Thoughtful Amenities** The amenities are incredibly thoughtful. They provide washing machines and dryers, so after a day of exploring, you can easily get your clothes clean and fresh for the next day's adventures. I'd describe this as a basic budget hotel. The facilities are quite dated, and it doesn't quite measure up to a Days Inn by Wyndham. It's located right next to Erhai Lake Park. A taxi ride to Dali Old Town costs about 40+ RMB and takes nearly an hour. The hotel's top floor offers views of Erhai Lake. There's a bus stop downstairs with routes to Dali Station or Haidong Town, but be warned, buses are notoriously difficult to catch. Breakfast was average, and the same spread was offered for three days straight, though thankfully, there were some hot, cooked items. The room itself was reasonably clean and tidy. Overall, it's decent, especially considering the price point.

The service attitude of the front desk clerk was very bad. I saw the room one minute ago, and then when I arrived at the hotel, I asked to see the room type, but the front desk clerk said there was no room. When we got back to the car and opened Ctrip again, it still showed that there were three rooms of each room type. We went to the front desk to ask again, and the clerk immediately said that someone had checked out. Could it be that three rooms of each room type were checked out at once?
