"We had a good night in the hostel having taken the lovely train journey from Glasgow before a day walking the west highland way with family. The woman at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We chose to have a 4 bedded room for the 2 of us, so it was not that cheap but worth it for a relaxed night sleep and some privacy. There was a washbasin in the room, but it was not ensuite. The toilets/showers were clean and pleasant. There was a good breakfast - we helped ourselves and washed up afterwards. Good value. There is a pleasant, comfortable sitting room which would have a wood fire in winter. The hostel is well situated, very near the station and handy for 3 eating places."

"As the house was fully booked we had the little s/c cottage for the night. John gave us a warm welcome before showing us our accommodation for the night. No frills but fully equipped and spotless with a very comfortable bed and sofa. Only slight downside was that the shower and wc were downstairs, not so good at night for the ancient! But then we were very fortunate to be there. Into the house for breakfast, Red Squirrels skipping off in all directions before we reached the door. John sat us down, his usual cheerful self, to a delicious breakfast, made even more interesting by Coal Tits and the returned Red Squirrels feasting on theirs' at the window. I like Inverardran and John very much, the cooked breakfasts are superb, the position is beautiful among the mountains and conveniently situated just off the A82 North - South road. Other guests at breakfast with us were walking the West Highland Way, so convenient for the energetic too. I very much hope to return next year."
