Hotel Opera Mamaia

"Light trance music at the beach; impeccable service; outstanding food. Go here if you need to unplug from whatever you are plugged into; this place is an oasis. Even the non-ocean view rooms have balconies with ocean views. The breakfast buffet is scrumptious European food, and the restaurant is the place to go for dinner and lunch... really no reason to shop around price or quality wise. The service is low key; the rooms are very modern; modern A/C system; and a relaxed vibe. So go to the beach; order some drinks; listen to the relaxing, tasteful, low music, and just relax. People mention a club next door in the reviews, but I had no problems with noise. I recommend avoiding the peak season when schools are on vacation... almost at all costs, because Mamaia gears up with thousands of beach chairs and mega stages, subwoofers, etc... for some sort of college spring break thing that lasts a couple of months. So if you go anywhere in Mamaia during peak season, prepare to be blasted with music."

"The hotel is very close to the beach, museums and the old city center, in a very good location. The room was spacious and beautiful looking. The cleaning personnel was coming daily to clean and refill the bathroom with toiletries if necessary. Also, the breakfast was varied and tasty. The kitchen staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Well low key the rooms are better than opera and Crowne hotels, I stayed in all. I found the rooms cleaner I repeat in my reviews I am very particular about cleaning. I like the rooms and I find them value for money (however let’s not forget I am diamond VIP agoda so I get cut clean prices). I would stay here again. I have few suggestions about outside but I will keep them for myself 😅, so yeah the rooms are very good. I haven’t tried the restaurant. I can say I did not encounter any problems, the beach boys were very helpful. Surprisingly me, the chief complainer, I kind of liked it very much. Been here 3 days. Let’s not forget I am a very difficult customer."

"An exceptional hotel. I have stayed at many hotels in Mamaia but this one is outstanding. -The location of the hotel is right next to the pedestrian area, with many terraces and close to a beach where you get a discount on sunbeds. -The room is spacious enough and very clean, equipped with everything you need - TV, AC, balcony, quality bed, immaculate carpet, armchairs, bathrobe, slippers, good Wifi, terrace. -The parking is constantly monitored by hotel staff. The car is safe. -The hotel staff is extremely nice, helpful, and polite. Cleaning is done daily (real cleaning). -The breakfast is very good (the coffee is extremely good). -For a 4-star hotel, the price was fair. -When we checked out, we were asked how we felt. In conclusion, this hotel is an example of what we call 'the hospitality industry' in our country."

"Spacious room with seating area, suite size but one space. Quiet at this time. Internet works very well. Tv channels more than enough with local and international options. Good English overall and polite with most of the staff. Good Nice lounge/restaurant with 3 areas. Product/food is good however service is average and slow, to order the food and to re-order for drinks. Price on the high side, maybe because beginning of the season. Good location short walk from the beach, towels are provided"
