"We arrived in the evening on an all-inclusive package and had no problems at all with check-in. We decided to skip the welcome drinks so we could drop our bags off and get some dinner before the restaurant closed. The food in the main buffet restaurant was very good throughout our stay. There was always plenty of choice, including two grilled meat options, two grilled fish options, a couple of pasta dishes, and several pizza options. There were also soups, salads, tapas-style cold dishes, and a wide variety of desserts, including a special dessert each evening. Everything we tried was delicious. In fact, we enjoyed the buffet so much during the first few days that we didn’t even bother booking one of the à la carte restaurants, even though one meal per stay was included with the all-inclusive package. The included wines were lovely too, and there was a good overall selection of drinks. The cocktails were also very nice, although the quality did seem to depend on who was making them. Some of the bar staff were much friendlier than others, and a few gave the impression that serving you was an inconvenience. By contrast, the restaurant staff were consistently friendly and efficient. That said, the service overall was not especially warm or personal, and there was very little interaction beyond the basics. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Everything worked as it should, so we had no complaints there. One benefit of the all-inclusive package was free access to the spa, which was a nice extra. We also considered paying for the Privilege upgrade, but at an additional £600 on top of what we had already paid, we really didn’t feel it offered enough value, and in hindsight I’m glad we didn’t choose it. The biggest disappointment for us was the entertainment. Both the evening entertainment and the daytime activities were very poor, especially for a hotel of this standard. We had expected much better. During our stay there was also a storm, and unfortunately no effort seemed to be made to provide any extra indoor entertainment or even put something on the TV in the bar area. This felt like a missed opportunity and was disappointing, as even a small amount of effort could have made a big difference for guests. Overall, there were definitely some positives, particularly the food, the cleanliness, and the room itself. However, the lacklustre entertainment and inconsistent bar service mean this is probably not somewhere we would return."

"I'm here now it's our second day I noticed on first night on way back to our room as have to pass the pools that people putting towels out on beds or just leaving them at the end of the day to reserve the same beds for the next day. Which I thought was out of order something the Germans would do. But thought maybe there's always plenty of beds but I was wrong came down to find myself and my son a sun lounger walk around two pools not 1 sunbed free. Approached the lifeguard and he wasn't interested said about people putting towels down of a night to reserve them just shrugged his shoulders. Went to reception to complain to manager told him every hotel I've ever stayed in they have a rule no towels on beds before 8am or they will be removed. He replied that is there rule I replied it clearly isn't and your not enforcing it and that it's unfair to other guests who have paid the same money that they can't lay by the pool and enjoy there holiday. I thought his attitude was very unprofessional and didn't want to help. A bad start to our holiday"

"Just myself and Harry for our 3rd visit. We love this place! The staff are so wonderful and made sure Harry had all that he needed. Nothing is too much for anyone here! I must also mention the other guests who, again , made our holiday awesome! Harry singing on karaoke was amazing! You all made him feel on top of the world. This is a family hotel , you will meet strangers who fast become friends! Enjoy. We will be back!"

"181 steps to all the life you need, but unfortunately that also means 181 steps from the nightlife. The apartments are extremely clean and in great modern decor. The beds are comfy and the rooms are airy and bright. The pool area is quiet but so well cleaned (The pool water is tested daily which is reassuring) and sunbeds are not an issue so no need to get up before 9:30 with us having got beds as late as 2pm. You can use the spar next door if you wish and the onside shop is fine for snacks. The staff are so friendly and make your stay feel better."
