"Aguas Claras is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We stayed in the Bibiri one bedroom bungalow which was perfect for the two of us. The king size bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and the amenities were plentiful. Our bungalow which was estrés in the beautiful grounds was very private and spotlessly clean. One of the best features of this bungalow is the huge covered front porch. Every evening, before dinner, we would sit for an hour listening to the birds while trying to spot monkeys, sloths, tucans and other wildlife. The beautiful semi private beach is only steps away. There are lounge chairs, towels, beverages, clean bathrooms and snacks available. Breakfast offers many choices and is served in a very comfortable outdoor area. While Aguas Claras is stunning, what most makes it stand out is the wonderful staff that works at this property. Without exception, everyone is kind, helpful and professional. In particular, I would like to thank Arriett for always being there for us. Thanks to Aguas Claras for making our stay a perfect one"

"Such a wonderful stay at Caribe Town! I spent my 40th here and there is no where else I would have wanted to be!! The property is beautiful, the people are so warm and inviting, and the accommodations are just perfect bungalows in the jungle. We laid by the pool, did yoga, read on our patio hammock, played games, had drinks, and just enjoyed everything here. I loved how thoughtful and considerate everything was - there was an area with all sorts of info on local activities, recommended restaurants, a number for a tuk tuk, we had a load of laundry done before we left, and a massage during our stay. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have a massage on my patio in the jungle. The location is perfect too! Right across the street from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and markets. 10/10 we would come back again!"

"Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with this hotel. When I first got there, they gave me a different room than what I booked. They told me they "upgraded" me, but this was a lie to manipulate me into being content with the fact that they gave my room away to someone they were familiar with who was coming back to stay with them. The room smelled TERRIBLY of mold. It was such a profound smell that I asked for a different room. They then showed me two rooms that smelled exactly the same that I could choose from. I was assured it wasn't mold, and that "we are in a rainforest and things get wet and damp." I have been to costa rica five times, and never have smelled rooms that smell like this for this price. I was not willing to take the risk, so I left and went to an air bnb. I was really hoping to get a refund, so I asked them. They avoided me and never gave me the refund. I felt this was unjust, rude, and strange behavior. I really tried to be kind and resolve this in a way that felt fair, but they are not communicating with me and refused to give me my money back. Please don't waste your money here. I am a budget traveler, but refuse to let that get in the way of my health."

"I stayed here for two nights and it was great. The facility is surrounded by greenery 😊 Jaime showed me the sloths in the hostel area ❤️ all peoples are friendly and helpful and the entire hostel area is clean. you have everything you need here. My room was good and you can refill the water bottle for free. You can find out everything about tours and buses at reception. I would come again 😊"
