Hotel Traumblick ★★★
"My son and I stayed at Hotel Traumblick for 3 nights in April. We had a "classic Mosel view" room, which is the smallest size on the top floor with slanted ceiling. Although the room is small, every inch is well-utilized. Bathroom is compact but not unusual for European hotels. We had no issue with water pressure on the top floor. The room has a mini fridge and water kettle. We have a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs, which we enjoyed sitting out on. I definitely recommend paying extra for the Mosel view, and recommend the larger-sized room (comfortable room) if you want more space. Location-wise, the hotel is located on the quieter side of Cochem just across the bridge. Many hotels are on the busy side right on the main street, and I can imagine they get noisy. Hotel Traumblick is fairly quiet, but you can get to the heart of the town within a 5-min walk across the bridge. From the train station, it is a good 15-min walk, so maybe not the best choice for travelers with heavy luggage. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but the bus (no.703) runs only 1x/hour. The plus side of being on the other side of the bridge is you get a great view of the town and the castle from the balcony! The staff is great and the breakfast is top-notched. Lots of choices and the breakfast room also looks out to the river. Breakfast starts at 8am however, so if you want an early start it might not work for you. Another huge plus is the hotel offering bikes & e-bikes rental! We haven't seen any bike rental places in the town itself so this is super convenient. They have different sizes of regular bikes along with helmets. If I have to quibble about Hotel Traumblick, I would say the bed sheets are a bit rough and towels a bit thin. But for a 3* hotel for such a good price, good location, and everything else, I can certainly overlook those."
Moselromantik Hotel Kessler Meyer ★★★★
"We where a party of 7 Bikers doing a tour of Germany, Firstly the hotel staff could not be more helpfull they where all very curtoius and polite, the food was second to none, As we where a party of 7 they gave us our own large table and private room in the resturant, that night we all agreed it was one of the best meals we have had, we are all well traveled and have dined in some of the world top place, but this evening meal was top class, we where all given a picnic bag to take with us when we left the following moring. All in all a briliant hotel."
Stumbergers Hotel ★★★
"An impeccably run and maintained hotel about 15-20min walk from the centre of Cochem. If you're looking for a hotel to explore Cochem and the nearby region, you can't go wrong with Stumbergers. We'll be staying here next time we're in Cochem/ doing Nürburgring. The Great - Room size and cleanliness. Everything was very well maintained and of good quality. - Breakfast. Continental style with eggs. Everything fresh and food quality. - Staff. Friendly, responsive, and make you feel very welcome. - Location. Quiet at night, supermarket (Penny) 3mim walk. Walking by the river into town is easy (flat) and enjoyable. - The on site bar/ restaurant. Only open during the day when we were staying with a limited menu, but very well priced and tasty. The Average - No fridge in the room, there's plenty of room for it. But they did let us keep my medication in their fridge. - Check out time is the same as breakfast. I'd recommend extending check out to 10.30am to allow guests a bit of time after eating. The Bad - Nothing! This place sets a high benchmark for small hotels in Europe. I only wish more were like this. Even the big chains could learn a lot from this hotel."
MoselAlpen - Schlafen & genießen ★★★
Hotel Karl Müller ★★★
"The hotel has a great location and stunning views from the rooms. Self-service check-in is available, and the front desk service is friendly. Parking, however, requires advance reservations, and only short-term parking is available in front of the hotel. It's strange that I couldn't get freshly ground coffee for breakfast. There was a coffee machine, but the girl checking my room number in the restaurant refused to let me use it."
Hotel Villa Tummelchen ★★★
"I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, but that was the only positive aspect. The room was warm, I opened the door to the balcony and left the room. When we came back, the door was closed and tilted open, which wasn’t how we left it. Very concerning, but now I see similar comments in other reviews. Additionally, we asked to keep our car parked in hotel spot for one additional hour after check-out, the owner couldn’t accommodate this because he was concerned about a possible influx of new guests at 10 am, five hours before check-in. Bizarre. Friends staying at a different hotel had their request to keep car one hour easily accepted. Rooms advertise hair/body soap, none provided."
Hotel Cochemer Jung ★★★
"No air conditioning, no kettle"
Hotel Vintage am Bundesbank-Bunker ★★★
"Friendly welcome in a cracked case with a wide choice of breakfast. The user was very helpful and when he heard of our plans to visit the bunker museum he pointed out that we were also given discounts as guests there and also showed us the shortest way through a staircase on the terrace."
Burg-Hotel & Hostel Cochem ★★★
"I will not spend time on this. Simply avoid this. They need to go to school to operate a restaurant at a professional level. Asking high prices and giving back very poor food. I have a lot of experience in restaurants and this is one of the worst."

Hotel am Markt
"A perfect small hotel in the middle of the city just beside the small square with its restaurants, cafe’s and nice places where we enjoyed some e beer of wines. Very nice staff, good breakfast and nice rooms. Despite its location it was very quiet and relaxing place to stay. (Note: 4 floors but no elevator.). I really recommend this nice hotel."
