"We live in Melbourne but we visit Yarrawonga on a regular basis. Over the past 40 years, we have managed to stay in all accommodation options (providers) throughout Yarrawonga and Mulwala. The Belmore Motor Inn is the best by far and is our first choice when planning to stay for a few days. The Motel is close to shops, eateries, hotels, and a supermarket. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts (Audrey and Robert) are always friendly and ready to help with information."

"Please be warned and I advise you that if you are going to stay here make sure that you stay out in the back motel rooms and NOT in the hotel rooms itself. The first room was definitely NOT upto scratch with dust and dirt everywhere not to mention torn carpet and missing skirting boards. We had to move to a second room due to a blocked toilet, well the second room was NO better. Again, old dirty torn carpet and dirt and dust everywhere not to mention missing skirting boards. The actual water pressure in both rooms the showers were alot to be desired. Walking between the beds and fitted furniture was about eight inches. Extension cords everywhere due to reconfiguration of rooms and poor plug locations. Poor lighting in the rooms. The radio in the first room was from the 1960's and definitely not working and possible electrical problem. When entering the rooms you get the feeling of walk in but DO NOT touch anything. The place seriously needs to be demolished and rebuilt but keeping the facade only due to its "heritage" to the town The only redeeming factor was that the meals were ok and reasonably priced. I have previously dined at these premises but it was some ten years ago, but nothing has changed or gone forward. Seriously if you book here, you are at your own peril"

Yarrawonga Holiday Park

"Booked a powered site months in advance. Arrive on the day only to be told the toilets and shower near us are not working and will be working again on the Thursday. They offered another site that was cheaper and surrounded by cabins and was a cheaper site (wasnt offered any discount either) but wanted the Riverview like we originally booked. The whole 4 nights we were here, there was no work done on the amenities block and wasnt openned after we left. The closest toilets were closed up to an hour for cleaning with no other option to use the other toilet as they were closed too. Getting access to the pool was also hard as they didn't give you the full code, lucky other people who were staying there to help us get access. Onsite Coffee van but only open on Friday mornkng. Overall, it was a nice park, but amenities were lacking for powered and unpowered site stayers."
