It was nice to stay for 5 nights and have a pleasant trip while resting well in a comfortable bed.  It was close to T-Centrale, 4 metro stops away, and transportation to the airport was good. 
 There was a variety of breakfast menus, and the staff continued to manage well, so I didn't feel crowded. I stayed for 5 nights very satisfied, thank you.

This morning, I checked my online booking confirmation, which read: 'Breakfast Mon-Fri until 09:30.' It was 9 AM, so I panicked. Then I noticed the fine print: 'Other times may apply during summer.' And indeed they did (until 11:00). I think they could have made the effort to state the correct times for our specific dates – it's so easily updated online. Especially since the hotel otherwise aims for high service standards. I later saw that the correct breakfast time was also listed with the key cards, but........

The hotel is right next to the train station, a 2-minute walk away. Most attractions can be reached within half an hour on foot, and it is also convenient to go shopping in the city center. The hotel business was very good, with many people checking out in the morning and many checking in in the afternoon. We arrived at noon and the room was not ready yet. The handsome guy at the front desk registered our information first and then stored our luggage. The hotel breakfast is also good, starting early in the morning.
Overall, good value for money and highly recommended.

Very recommended hotel. The traffic is quite convenient, there is a bus to the central station in two minutes, and the subway is also two stops away. If you walk to the downtown area for about 15-20 minutes. The rich breakfast and simple dinner that change every day are quite intimate for travelers who want to stay in the hotel. The service is super friendly and warm, and there is a free sauna in the basement, but it is necessary to remind the counter to turn on the heating 30 minutes in advance. The only minor drawback is that the water will overflow during the shower, but the water pressure is still used by Rituals' spare parts, which is a plus.

You felt as the hotel's name already betrayed, just like at home. The beds were super and everything was clean. The only point of criticism was the shower in our room: through the unplane ground the water did not run to the excursion. The hotel was well known and we were offered additional towels by the Putzwoman without we pointed out the shortage.
Top price-performance ratio.

The location is perfect in the center of Oslo, the receptionist Daniel he supported us with the luggages and the dinner in the room was a delicious but there was needed for a table to eat on.

The location was excellent....close to downtown plus there was an interesting restaurant area behind the hotel that bordered the Akerselva (?) River.  However, many of these restaurants were large and did not appeal to me for this reason (see below). 
It was also an easy walk to Oslo Central Station.  
The hotel itself was appealing - with a nicely decorated lobby.
I was disappointed with the service from the Front Desk staff, who were busy with ”reception related” tasks and had little time to discuss areas of interest in the City.  Often there was no one at the front desk.
Also, the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel did not open until the evening, and while there were restaurants close by, many of these were large open spaces and not ”warm”

I arranged the trip through Trip.com for a business trip where the schedule to meet another party in Evje Moen.  It turned out that they could meet a day earlier than they had previously stated.  Though I offered to Home Hotel Bastion that I delete 5/26 and substitute 5/30, that was not accepted.  The problem was that Trips.com would not allow it, even though I announced the request by message before I left the U.S.  There should have been a provision for making a change withing a reasonable amount of time.

Regret: breakfast time on Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m.: too late

Delicious meal. Comfortable beds although the room becames too small if you need an additional bed. Very small bathroom, specially for tall people.

The location is very wonderful, the breakfast and the high-class treatment of the staff and services. The cleanliness is lacking, it needs a simple touch, and the bed and pillows need to be reviewed, otherwise everything is wonderful. The staff and restaurant crew are very wonderful.

There is no kettle in the room. I asked the front desk for one, but was told that it is not available in standard rooms, only in superior rooms. At this price, they don't provide a kettle even if there is one, which is really annoying😫

To be honest, the hotel is very soundproof, and I can't hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. My room is not on the airport side.

The hotel is in a very good location! Adjacent to the colorful fishing houses, the corner sea view room has windows on both sides, and you can see the panoramic view of Bryggen. The hotel itself is a historical building and an early port office. There is no need to set a wake-up alarm, because there are seagulls knocking on the window on time every morning 😀. The front desk service attitude is very good, but the actual room cleaning efficiency is a bit low, and it needs to be reminded. The free dinner is an unexpected surprise.

Hotel is located in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance to the Byggen, the tourist info center. The Floibanen station with the tram train up to the Floyen view point is just 100 meters behind the hotel. The airport bus also stop near to the hotel. It is a bit far from the train station.
There are many restaurants around the area and near to the Square.
Room is quite large. Was allocated a roon with great view of the hills behind.
Service was also very prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
