It is less than 2 miles from Carrigaholt village where there is a restaurant. Our room was a good size, and the bathroom was very clean and functional. The rest of the house was sparkling clean too. Peaceful night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was super and cooked to order. The star of the show is the owner, who is not only a very talented cook but a wonderful and genuinely welcoming host. We would love to go back and stay a few nights. Thank you."

We were celebrating our friend’s birthday, and the lovely welcome selection of cakes was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even taking care of our bags when we arrived early. Breakfast was excellent, with great gluten-free options available, which was much appreciated. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and special. Highly recommended! "We arrived around 5pm and were warmly welcomed by Brian, who showed us to our room right away. The lodge is newly renovated, very clean, and has a lovely cozy feel. Brian was very helpful and shared some great tips for visiting the Cliffs of Moher, which is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed a nice walk along the Doolin cliff trail before visiting the Cliffs. The next morning, we had a wonderful Irish breakfast. There was a good selection of bread, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt and juice, plus a hot breakfast cooked and served by Emily. Brian also made us a nice cup of coffee. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay. The lodge is peaceful and quiet at night, making it a very relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"It is about 20 minutes' drive from the cliff. It is said to be the most expensive hotel under the cliff. It is similar to a resort with a very good environment and some animals next to it. The hotel is a bit old, the hygiene and facilities are average, the room is large, the bed is very comfortable, and I am very satisfied with it overall."
