The location is excellent. Reception is very helpful and supportive, though they don't speak English. Highly recommend!

The hotel at good location . lobby n main entrance is at 11 floor And 4th floor can direct access to famous street The hotel is quit old but cleanest is good. there is some unhappy things happen when 1st night I check in but continue with the 2nd,3rd and 4th day everything was fine. 1st day of stay,toilet blow stuffing&Aircond not function well(felt suffocated),The funny thing is they said bring me a fan and that time outside I weather is 39’c. If I stay for 1 night is ok. But 4 night is not a good idea to accept.so they change room for us and the new room Aircond& the toilet bowl function well.

Cool hotel in a great location, decor is a little tired and the restaurant looked closed not sure if it is due to being a quiet time. Staff couldn’t speak English but it wasn’t an issue, pool was lovely and cool with a great view. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

The overall experience was good and I extreme impressed by the staff called Xiao Ru. She has been welcoming us with warmth and care from the first day we arrived Travelling with kids was always challenging but Xiao Ru has provided excellent service and patience for our queries. She has been kind enough to follow up if we need any further assistance on a daily basis. We had an early travel plan and she ensured her colleagues in another shift sending fruit to us every day after her shift. Additionally, she assisted the laundry pick up from our room and ready before our return to the room. Since we were on a night flight, a complimentary late check out was really helpful to ease out hassle. The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of options and the location was superb too. We'll definitely consider Mercure for our next visit!

Good option in Jiefangbei! Stayed here for a night before heading to the airport. Super convenient stay, about a minute walk to the center of Jiefangbei. There’s a convenient store and a variety of restaurants downstairs. The bed is super soft and the room was warm (stayed in winter) and relatively clean. The building this hotel is located in is very old. The hotel is nicely renovated but we had some problems with the water, I developed an extremely bad rash on my entire body and my husband mentioned that his scalp itched. We believe it’s the water since we stayed in Chongqing for 7 days at other hotels and it was never a problem (so not weather related).

We had a wonderful 3D/2N stay at the Roosevelt Service Apartment in Chongqing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially Yang, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Yang’s hospitality was truly exceptional and set the tone for our stay. The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors were modern yet cozy, and the attention to detail in the design made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring Chongqing, with easy access to key attractions and transportation. Despite its central location, the apartment offered a quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Overall, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Roosevelt Service Apartment to anyone visiting Chongqing and extend our gratitude to Yang for making our experience even more special!

We spent the night there for my birthday! It was as beautiful as the pictures , marvelous experience. Good quality speakers and projector for movie night. Everything was so conducive. The service was the best! Staff were very attentive and responsive for our needs. One of the staff 静静was liaising with me directly, she was excellent in ensuring that we got what we needed; and even planned a surprise for my birthday 🙈 she was highly responsive and helped us put our mind at ease and have a comfortable and fruitful stay here :) Overall very very impressed with this place and would highly recommend to experience this at least once! For the price, will definitely would like to return back to this place.

Looks luxurious however the room is not sound proof. We had trouble sleeping at night. Can hear people talking and TV on from the next room. The towels upon check in was NOT clean. It had poo stains. The jacuzzi bathtub in the room did not work… l After few complaints, the staff gave us free breakfast in last night and some biscuits… on the positive side this hotel is very convenient to Main Street where all the food and shopping is at.

The hotel is in a good location, it is convenient to see it, the room is clean and sanitary, the biggest feature is the service number, the main fee is upgraded, the front desk service is great, it is more than 10 minutes away from Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, I will stay there next time in 2026

The hotel is located on the Jiefangbei pedestrian street, only 2 minutes by foot from the main square, the metro station is close and easy accessible 🌸 The room is spacious, located on the 18th floor of the skyrise building, with lots of amenities and complimentary Chongqing snacks, which are provided everyday 🌸 Although there is no breakfast avaliable, the location of the hotel makes it very convenient for every meal option, including late night dinners since some of the restaurants and street vendors work until 2am 🌸 The hotel is suitable for first time visitors since you can reach most popular atractions by foot, such as Hongya cave and popular food streets 🌸 Highly recommend if you want your travels to be convenient and effective, either by foot or simply by taking a metro to the major locations and tourist attractions 🌸
