Mountwell Executive Suites (Jiefangbei Hongyadong)

We stayed in a 2-bed suite with awesome river view on a high floor. We loved this hotel! View from the rooms was gorgeous. Location is super to get food and services. Two metro stations are not next door but in a walkable distance. Across the street down the stairs had one of the best hotpot places (文亮火锅） we experienced, highly recommend! Beds were nice and comfortable for us. We prefer beds on the harder side which is more common in China. I mentioned about the lack of night lamp to the cleaning lady and a few hours later received one to the room! But later I realized nobody should need a night lamp. If you keep the curtains up, the city light is all you need. Washer was a super plus. Even though it wasn’t that easy to rack dry everything but there were enough hangers and was alright to dry in the closets. One thing that bothered me a little bit was the noise of the air conditioner in the master bedroom. Too loud to sleep with. so we kept it off while sleeping which wasn’t a problem even on hot days by keeping the door open- 2nd bedroom air con helped. Bathroom had no ventilation or we didn’t figure out how to turn it on. But the smart toilet is very good to wash your rear ;) All in all we enjoyed our stay very much. Would recommend.
