Jiangyou Gaokong Riverview Youth Hostel B&B (Liberation Monument Hongya Cave Branch)

hard to find, also i booked 4 bed room and they gave me 8 bed +extra one person was sleeping on the floor... Very loud people living there (owner's family i guess because there was a kid also), they are talking and laughing all the time and that kid used to open my curtain all the time and look at me:o dirty toilet, very poor wifi

I stayed in the room of five people after boss recommending this room because it has private toilet. The room was cleaned everyday but the toilet within the room was not cleaned there's no even a cleaning tools. Sometimes I was using public toilet because it was cleaned everyday. But apart from that everything was good, location is convenient and it has a nice river view. The boss is also nice. The hotel has washing machine.

Location is not too far from the subway. And 30 min walk to the busy area. I couldnt find the entrance at first. You have to go up to the 49th floor (not all elevators go to this floor). And then you have to call (also possible with an e-sim) the owner. They arrived quickly. The owner does not speak any English (and is not present. If you have questions you can probably call them for help though). They clean the place everyday which was good. The only thing that I did not like: was that they clean between 10:15-11:50 am. Which can be disturbing when you are still sleeping and they enter the room.. Overall it was a clean and cheap hostel. You get what you pay for ;)

Great location (Metro acces in cenrral location) no issues with owwner. Trip com check-in information was misguiding. Clean. Washing opportunity with powder and dtying facility. Should be back one day.

It is my second time staying in this hostel and I really like my stays. The location is perfect, most of the tourist spots can be reached on foot (if you like walking like me) the beds are very comfortable and the lady is really accommodating and friendly; in addition, there is a 24h guardian; It made my stay in Chongqing more pleasant and enjoyable. I needed a quick hostel to stay at. Not only was this place convenient, the view and the other people in the location were extremely generous and helpful. A great atmosphere to be in for sure. The view overlooks the majority of the city which was absolutely immaculate. I recommend it highly. They’ve also got a fridge with buyable snacks and food as well a portable charger station.
