"I cannot recommend Hotel Agaro enough, anyone considering choosing this hotel should DEFINITELY make a reservation. From the moment you enter reception you are made to feel welcome, the inviting fragrance that fills the air to say the least! Our room was magnificent, I’m sure we had the best room int he hotel, balcony overlooking the seafront, magical. The rooms, indeed the whole hotel is so clean, fresh and bright. The breakfast has everything anyone could ask for, all fresh and appetising every morning. The bar/terrace area overlooking the seafront is very inviting, with very good prices. Likewise the pool/ bar area, so clean with a very friendly barman for whom nothing is any trouble. Chipiona is a fantastic town , not at all “touristy” which we love, we stayed briefly last year, couldn’t wait to spend longer this year and will definitely return as part of our exploring this fabulous, unspoiled area of Spain. We hired a car which made it easy to transfer from Jerez airport and also to visit surrounding areas, Cadiz, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Puerto de Santa Maria, both amazing especially if you’re sherry aficionados as we are, on which note a visit to Cesar Florido in Chipiona is a must, it’s very own bodega with most local bars serving their many varieties of sherry which is fabulous . I cannot speak highly enough of Hotel Agaro, Chipiona and surrounding areas, it has carved a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to return."

"We have just returned after a fab holiday at best village hotel Location perfect beautiful beach , hotel brand new and kept so clean staff all very friendly rooms with everything you need Lovely pools we were premium guests and mainly used the roof top pool where we had drinks and lovely fruit stewers and wonderful views especially at sunset The adult pool was infinitely and so relaxing, 2 other pools which was used for families mainly The food in our opinion was lovely the selection definitely beats a lot of hotels we have stayed in pizzas in the oven was lovely for a lunch and the wok station amazing The resort in our opinion is definitely up and coming and could do with a good bus service we got a cab to Chipiona and walked back along the beach took about an hour Costa Ballena a walk about 10 mins We flew into Jerez airport and was through the airport in about 20 mins and that was doing the new entrance security We will definitely return to this lovely holiday"

"They carelessly damaged and stained an important, expensive wedding dress literally the day before the event and later dishonestly denied it all. We were very accommodating and only asked for the cost of the dress to be cleaned/repaired, ignoring the fact they tore the veil which consequently couldn’t be worn. The owner was unapologetic, callous and expressed no empathy towards the situation. He made no effort to make things right, refusing responsibility for what happened. The room itself was fine, although was noisy at night, early morning when receptionists arrive and has a lot of light bleeding into the room. Internet isn’t great for video calls and would frequently disconnect."

"If you can't find another option and have no choice but to stay overnight in Chipiona, fine. If not, you'd better look elsewhere, because this one leaves a lot to be desired. The location is unfortunate, right on the road in a somewhat abandoned area. When I arrived, I found it closed and with a phone number I had to call about 10 times to get it answered. The rooms, although clean, are quite basic. The bathroom lacks basic amenities, such as a floor towel or a bar of soap or shower gel. I think it's the bare minimum for the price you have to pay (€40 in September). The only positive aspects are that there's parking and air conditioning. There's no security at the entrance to the hotel, as they leave both access doors unlocked, and anyone can sneak in."
