"This was a very functional stop over for one night on our family US road trip. We received a warm welcome, the staff at the hotel all seem very nice. The room we had was very spacious but it did smell of fish! Apparently this is because the carpet was cleaned that morning (even though I found a toenail on the carpet!). The hotel were unable to move us because they were nearly at capacity which was a shame. The staff did try to Fabreeze the room which made it better but there remained a fishy odour throughout our stay. The hotel bar and pool were closed for refurbishment which was a shame! The gym was very good I think it that had clearly been refurbished recently with new equipment. Breakfast was also very nice and included. Don’t miss the crazy golf course right next to the hotel! That was great fun! All in all a good value stay!"

"I camp in a lot of places, but this one was particularly frustrating because they advertise a $53 per night rate with them when you go to book with their online service there's a $20 fee in addition to the $53. So, I called the campground to try and just book it direct with them and got a voicemail to leave a message and they would call me promptly back. Several days later no call so I booked the online to ensure you had a place to stay and attempted to take it up with management in the office but they were like oh well, that's just the way it is. Very frustrating!"
