Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts Hotels in Chengdu

19 - 22 July 2024 My family checked into InterContinental Hotel at the New Century Global Center, Chengdu on 19 July 2024. This was exactly the time of the microsoft global outage affecting computer networks and systems, but we were well received at check-in by Mr. Sean who, despite the system difficulties, managed to ensure a smooth check-in experience. Due to the global outage, another individual - Mr. Sunday Wang - awaited us at our designated block’s elevator as he had to personally open our room using his employee assigned room card. To compensate for the inconvenience, welcoming fruits and bakery snacks were delivered to the room much to the delight of our 2 kids. As always, rooms were well kept and fresh. One particular individual my kids look forward to seeing everytime is Ms. Sunny. Sunny ensured we had a fine dining experience everytime we ordered room service or went to the restaurant for breakfast. Those extra ice-creams and fruits surely made our kids happy in addition to her spending time out of her busy schedule to play with our kids. In addition to Sunny’s generosity, she made sure our last day/night of stay was upgraded to those nice and spacious family rooms on the ground floor…very beautiful rooms. So grateful and thankful for all the wonderful service at InterContinental Hotel giving my family everlasting fond memories. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone keen on making great memories and experience professional and friendly customer service.

This time I came to Chengdu to watch a concert and stayed at the Century City InterContinental Hotel. The hotel housekeeper Leix Jialin is responsible and capable 👍👍You can choose her when you come to the InterContinental. The experience is excellent and must give a good review! When we arrived at the hotel, the concierge took the initiative to help with the luggage and was warm and thoughtful. The front desk staff not only checked us in quickly, but also thoughtfully upgraded the room type, which instantly impressed us. When I walked into the room, my eyes lit up. The decoration is simple and elegant, and the layout is warm and comfortable. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly. Lying on it feels like being surrounded by clouds and you have a good night's sleep. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The hotel's toiletries are of very good quality and smell great. They are full of quality. The hotel's dining options are equally outstanding. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western cuisine. The Chinese hot porridge and steamed dumplings are fresh and warm to the stomach, while the Western bacon and waffles paired with freshly ground coffee will whet your appetite. The restaurant has an elegant environment, and the service staff are always available to add water and close the table, providing an excellent dining experience. I booked an executive suite and received executive benefits. The hotel also has an executive lounge. The breakfast was praised as delicious, and it provides exquisite refreshments and cocktails. It is very comfortable to come here to relax after work. The leisure facilities are also quite complete. The gym equipment is brand new and rich in variety, meeting various exercise needs, but unfortunately there is no swimming pool. The service in this hotel is first class 😊. Whether it is room service, restaurant or gym staff, they are all warm, polite and responsive. Recently, the air conditioning in the hotel was too cold. I called and asked if it was seasonal maintenance. I hope it will be solved as soon as possible. However, the hotel manager on duty also sent me a cup of hot coffee, which was very heartwarming. This stay was impeccable from the environment to the facilities, from the food and beverage to the service. I highly recommend it to everyone. I will come again if I have the chance. [Happy][Happy]

This stay was beyond imagination! The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The service team was professional and enthusiastic. From check-in to check-out at the front desk, every detail was handled just right. Special thanks to Alex for his patient answers and help. The buffet dinner had a strong atmosphere, and I loved the lamb chops and salmon BBQ the most. For breakfast, the variety was rich and very good. In short, the accommodation experience was very good. I will continue to choose here next time I come to Sancha Lake. I recommend it to everyone!
