I stayed at Chengdu Rongcheng Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience.
✅ Location: The hotel is well-situated, close to local attractions such as Huangcheng Mosque, Chengdu Museum and Tianfu Square and public transport such as nearest metro, Tianfu Square Station It was easy to get around, and there were shops and halal eateries nearby at Yangxixian Food Street.
✅ Room: The room was clean and spacious enough. The daily housekeeping was consistent.
✅ Facilities: The hotel had basic amenities like a kettle, toiletries, and bottled water. The air-conditioning/heating worked well, and check-in/check-out was smooth and fast.
✅ Staff: Polite and helpful, though English communication was limited—but with translation apps, everything went fine. They tried their best to assist.
Overall, great value for money. I'd recommend Chengdu Rongcheng Hotel for anyone looking for a strategic place to stay in Chengdu.

Pros: 1. No extra charge for children's breakfast 2. Super comfortable mattress Cons: 1. Old facilities, all wall-mounted units, direct-blowing beds, peeling roof 2. Poor hygiene, cockroaches were seen at the door, and there were flying insects in the breakfast milk 3. The complimentary afternoon tea and rice bowl were not delivered unless I mentioned it to the customer service

The room was very quiet. The mattress was a zero-pressure memory foam mattress. It was very soft and comfortable. I fell asleep in no time. The TV was a little small. The breakfast variety was okay, but the salad dressing wasn't very tasty.
