It's genuinely a paradise for families with children! Our dedicated private butler, Annie, was assigned to us by the hotel! From the moment we arrived, she accompanied us throughout, patiently explaining all the hotel's facilities, services, and important details. Upon discovering that our family of three only had two breakfasts included, she immediately upgraded the breakfast service for our little one! We are incredibly grateful for this! P.S. All breakfasts are freshly prepared by the chefs right on the spot! Our family enjoyed playing in the Ocean Park so much that we exceeded the extended 2 PM check-out time the hotel generously offered! Despite having already cleaned our room, the housekeeping staff enthusiastically allowed us back in to shower and change, and then proceeded to clean the room *again*! While feeling incredibly apologetic, we were profoundly impressed by the hotel's truly guest-centric service philosophy! The InterContinental Chengdu Global Center remains our absolute top and only choice whenever we visit Chengdu!"

They even specially offered two bowls of Tremella soup, which was sweet on the tongue and warmed my heart! The room was also thoughtfully equipped with multi-interface phone chargers – what a considerate touch! Every single detail of Minshan Hotel's meticulous service will undoubtedly earn guests' highest praise! Its location is superb. Yandao Street is steeped in rich history and culture. Standing outside the hotel and watching the children from Yandao Street Primary School head home, you truly get a sense of the vibrant, authentic pulse of local life surrounding Minshan Hotel. This offers immense comfort to those weary from travel, an experience you won't find in typical hotels. Indeed, this is precisely where Minshan Hotel's distinctive charm lies!"

"Located right in the heart of Chunxi Road, this hotel is a true hidden gem in Chengdu for me. Masterfully designed, it seamlessly blends the concept of 'invisible design' into every detail – from the double-height ceilings in the guest rooms, to the floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, and the custom Zen-inspired lighting fixtures, all subtly exuding an air of understated luxury. The rooms are spacious with thoughtfully designed layouts, the bedding is incredibly soft and comfortable, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Its convenient location near IFS and Taikoo Li also makes the surrounding area incredibly appealing. There's no extravagant decor here, just pristine cleanliness, peaceful tranquility, and a level of refined, understated service, which is why it's my go-to choice for repeat stays in Chengdu."

"With my family away this time, I decided to take a solo cycling trip. Having frequently stayed at the St. Regis in Shanghai, I was keen to experience the Chengdu property. The St. Regis boasts an excellent location in the highly convenient Chunxi Road/Taisheng South Road district, offering unparalleled accessibility. Upon arrival, the prominent 'Evergrande Group St. Regis Chengdu' sign instantly brought back nostalgic memories of the economic boom's glory days. Entering my room, despite it being a standard category, I was genuinely impressed by its spaciousness – the hotel truly delivered above expectations! As I was here for cycling, I rented a bike, and the concierge team very thoughtfully stored it for me, making pick-up and use incredibly convenient. After my first day of cycling, I enjoyed the buffet at the Show restaurant. The young restaurant supervisor was exceptionally polite and courteous; seeing her brought back memories of my own youth, and I found myself unexpectedly moved to tears. On my final day, due to unexpected heavy traffic, I only made it back to the hotel for check-out at 2:05 PM. My butler was incredibly understanding and thoughtfully extended my check-out time, giving me just enough time for a lightning-fast shower before leaving, which truly brought my cycling trip to a perfect conclusion."

"This hotel is so new that it seems to have opened in a hurry without sufficient preparation. When checking in, they said that the room would be upgraded, but the windows of the upgraded room could not be closed tightly. I called the front desk several times, and it took a long time for someone to come to fix it. After inspection, they said that it could not be fixed, so I had to change the room again, which delayed nearly an hour. However, Manager Yang's service was good, efficient, and able to actively solve problems, but the ability of other service staff could be improved. Considering that the hotel has just opened, these situations are understandable, and I hope it will get better and better in the future."

"An incredibly convenient airport transit option with surprisingly easy access! I chose this hotel to catch an early morning flight, and its convenience was off the charts—the subway station is right outside the door, so I could just walk a few steps with my luggage to the station without having to search for it in the sun. Even better, it's incredibly close to the airport. I pre-booked the hotel's airport shuttle service, and it only took about ten minutes to get to the passenger terminal. No need to get up in the dark to rush to my destination in the morning—it's so convenient for people catching flights! The room was clean and tidy, and the price was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I have an early morning flight!"

"I spent 3 nights in this amazing hotel. I could never thank them enough for all the assistance I get during my stay in Chengdu. Starting by the moment, I get off the metro 🫶🏼 Fan Lu & Xiao Mi were kind and generous, the best companions ever. I wish I had this welcome every time when I travel. Thank you team ! The location is near the metro and heart of Chengdu. Easy to reach the Panda Base Reaserch. The room was clean and quite spacious. I recommend this hotel Hope to see you again soon"

"Unfortunately we hired a room in a hotel with swimming pool, but the swimming pool was out of service and they didn't notify us. Very disappointed with that. The breakfast wasn't the best also, no enough fresh fruit, the bread wasn't fresh. If you rent a room in a 5 star hotel, you expect something better, coffee awful."

"The facilities were average. There was no capsule coffee machine, no children's toiletries, and the mini bar only had the cheapest drinks. The service staff was split. Some were enthusiastic and proactive, like the gentleman we met during a nighttime stroll through the park who offered hotel recommendations. The lady at the Thatched Cottage tour was also nice and helped us borrow mosquito repellent. However, the cleaning lady on the floor was less than helpful. When we left for breakfast, she turned away without even saying hello, looking down at her phone the entire time. When we reached the elevator, she leaned against the button, playing with it and blocking it with her hand against the wall, leaving me unable to press it. The breakfast selection was limited and lacked much to eat, but the freshly squeezed watermelon juice saved the day. The fact that they provided takeout fruit boxes was a plus. The only so-called departure gift was a small scented piece. I wanted a cup, but it wasn't available. I was a little disappointed and didn't order one. Overall, the French-style decor is nice for photos, but the service and attention to detail could be improved. For around 500 yuan, it's worth a try, but 800 or 900 yuan is not a good option. Chengdu has so many hotels to choose from."

"The hotel is beautiful and the room excellent. Unfortunately the roof top pool was closed without prior notice for our 7 night stay. This was very unexpected in the middle of summer and a major feature of the property. The service is unfortunately patchy, and the amenities not as advertised. The room does not have a service guide - in English or Chinese, the television provides pretty hotel pictures not useful information . The room was often not serviced until after 2pm, about the time you need a cool down and fresh towels in the summer heat. The food was excellent- but like in many cases- the WeChat menu app would work with an international phone number, and no Ali pay version was available, a paper menu would have been handy. We have been to several cities in China and similar hotels while not as beautiful were better organised."
