Golden Age hotel

This hotel I stayed at in Chengdu absolutely stole my heart! The vintage ambiance is incredibly photogenic, and I couldn't stop snapping photos. Chunxi Road is right downstairs, making shopping super convenient! The afternoon tea and breakfast were also delightful. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Absolutely five stars!!! During our ten-day trip to Chengdu, we stayed at JW Marriott, Guixiang, and InterContinental. Guixiang was my boyfriend's absolute favorite (they even upgraded our room!), and he couldn't stop raving about it, even after we'd moved on to the InterContinental. **Ambiance:** The French-inspired decor was chic, romantic, and wonderfully quiet. Every corner was beautifully arranged, making it truly picturesque. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk through an alley to IFS and Taikoo Li. **Cleanliness:** Impeccable. Our room was meticulously cleaned daily, ensuring a very comfortable and reassuring stay. **Service:** The laundry service was outstanding! Our clothes came back smelling fresh, feeling soft, and perfectly folded. Each day, staff proactively checked on our breakfast and afternoon tea preferences. Breakfast was hearty (though it arrived a bit cool). We had quite a bit of luggage, and the staff handled each piece with great care. **Facilities:** The bedding and projector were excellent. While the toiletries weren't quite five-star quality, they were perfectly acceptable. **Minor Suggestion:** The only minor point is that our room's shower lacked a shelf for toiletries. Perhaps a suction-cup caddy could be easily added.

The rooms at Guixiang·GOLDEN AGE Hotel are spotless. The attention to detail really shines through. It's incredibly quiet here, making it perfect for a trip with friends. The service was also top-notch; any issues we had were quickly resolved by the staff. Plus, the split-level rooms are incredibly spacious and bright! The afternoon tea was also fantastic, with exquisite drinks and delicate pastries. Just sitting there, chatting with friends, was incredibly relaxing.

Stepping into the lobby feels like traveling back to the last century. Vintage chandeliers, old wooden furniture, and period paintings – every detail tells a story. The rooms seamlessly blend retro charm with modern amenities, featuring patterned carpets, leather sofas, and smart facilities, ensuring a truly comfortable stay. It’s incredibly photogenic everywhere you look! My sister and I took tons of beautiful photos, from the lobby's grand staircase to by the window in our room. The retro aesthetic is perfect for photoshoots, and you can also relax and enjoy afternoon tea.
