Very clean, no odor, there is a ginger cat that barks when it sees people and likes to go out for a walk. The owner is very nice and has many books. I didn't have the habit of reviewing it until I stayed in other youth hostels and remembered the goodness of Friends

The guy working in the hostel is friendly and helpful. The hostel is quite difficult to find, I needed to ask some locals in order to find it. I would probably try to find somewhere else to stay if you are traveling in Chengdu

For me, youth hostels provide a temporary resting place for people who have difficulty going out. It can feel like home and it can also be a place to sleep. It is convenient and not cumbersome. If you are tired and want to find a place to rest, you don’t have to go to an hourly room. Friends can definitely meet all your temporary needs. Everyone must pay attention to safety when you go out!

Incredible stay everything was perfect would highly recommend! Perfect location in the centre near to lots of shops and restaurants. room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities you could need. The best part was the kindness of the staff, who helped me a lot with anything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay - amazing place and a warm welcome to Chengdu, I felt very at home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I visit Chengdu!

My advice? Do not stay here. There are two bathrooms and they permanently smell like awful stinky urine. I had to go buy bleach and clean myself to be able to use it, three hours later the smell was the same. Beds are fooor hard, the bed sheets and towels are super clean. The owner is the kindest guy. But this is like a frat house. It’s mainly Chinese men full time living here, they all smoke in the kitchen. There’s a cat that meows like crazy at 5 am.
There’s a washing machine that you can use. It’s an old flat building, extremely hard to find. Also they moved so the adress now is same building block but building one floor 5. Exit elevator and it’s the door in your right.
Again, owner is the kindest and most helpful person. But if you can afford something better just do.

The room owner is friendly, but since the cost is cheap, it is best not to expect good environment.
