Appart'City Classic Angoulême Centre ★★★
"Cleanliness: Poor, will not stay here again in the future. Just parking is convenient"
Hôtel François Premier Cognac Centre ★★★★
"The hotel is very well located, clean with the little more for the very pleasant pool with these strong warmths ! But we arrived in advance and we realized that the room was not ready, however no alternatives were proposed (bagage baggage, call us if the room was ready before, etc..)."
Ibis Budget Cognac ★★
"Staff friendly and very polite with good manner and nice smile."
Ibis Budget Angoulême Nord ★★
"Spacious room, private parking."
Greet hôtel Angoulême Ouest ★★★
"Luxurious...very good environment"
Ibis Styles Angoulême Nord ★★★
"I've used this title before and it applies to the Ibis Styles. I'd stayed recently at an Ibis in the UK for 3 nights and it was comfortable enough for a short stay. As I only wanted an overnight stop in France I thought I'd give it a try. It was quite expensive but it was in a convenient location near the motorway and it was August. It was clean, modern and comfortable if a bit stark but for one night I need nothing more. Our ground floor room, 114, looked out onto the the patio area. Reception was efficient and English-speaking (I don't expect it but it helps). There is free parking outside. We walked to a nearby pizza restaurant, about 10 minutes walk away, for dinner although there is an adjacent restaurant called 'le Boucherie' Breakfast was buffet-style and adequate if not excessive like some up-market hotels."
Logis Hôtel la Résidence, Cognac Centre ★★
"The room was very comfortable and comfortable."
Hôtel B&B Angoulême ★★
"There is no elevator. There is no possibility to get a dental kit in the reception. Ok for one overnight nothing else more. Parking arrangements are good and free of charge."
ibis budget Angoulême Centre ★★
"Facilities: Complete bag check-in Hygiene: clean and clean Environment: comfortable and quiet Service: Thoughtful and warm reception"

Hôtel Quai des Pontis
"Since we stayed off-season, breakfast was not a buffet, but rather was ordered at check-in. The portions were small so I recommend ordering what you like. The location was great, within a 15-minute walk of the city center and a 5-minute walk to Chateau Cognac and Hennessy. The spacious grounds made for a relaxing stay."
Hotel du Commerce Chez Stéphane
Hotel le Saint Gelais
"Excellent hotel with high level of service I totally recommend when visiting Angoulême"
Château de Champblanc
"A wonderful gem in the sticks of the commune de Cognac. If you are into a quiet weekend with marvelous food within quirky interior design, then this is your space. Lovely hosts, great room, perfect location."
Mr & MRS Smith HÔTEL Chais Monnet
"I think this is the best hotel in Cognac. The service is friendly and prompt. The car service was also very convenient, so I didn't have to call a taxi."
Chambres d'hôtes les Galaines
Domaine des Etangs, Auberge Collection
"This is a magical place even in “Grisatre” of winter. It is very expensive, but with our AmEx platinum perks, we could splurge. Loved hiking for hours in the cold and rain to feel nature and peace. We were upgraded to the Soleil suite. It was enormous and had a view of the inside of the turret. It’s hard to look generosity and complain, but I’m particularly sensitive to light and in the suite’s main living room there is a a neon modern art sculpture that cannot be turned off, and the major light fixture is beautiful/enormous but cannot be dimmed. If you are sensitive to light, you might want to consider that when booking. The breakfast was excellent. We did not dine in the Michelin starred dining room, but our room service meal was perfect and with hot soup. We both were struggling with colds and were pleased that the food was hot when delivered. Special thanks for Charly, Louis, Bernadette and Leticia (sp?). The heating system does make a good bit of noise, and I get that it’s a very old building, but if you’re sensitive to sound (I guess I sound pretty sensitive!), noise canceling earbuds are helpful. The thermal area was very nice and clean. The cattle are beautiful and I was glad to hear they’re allowed to live their lives out on the estate; it made ordering my husband’s meal a little easier to think his beef was not one of the ginger-colored Limousin steers I had just watched hours before."
Ibis Styles Cognac
"Not as good as last time, although the staff are still just as friendly."
Hôtel du Palais
"A typical, old-style French hotel but with quirky decor in the public places. It has a fabulous location right at the top of Angoulême, at the beating heart of the eating and drinking quarter. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although there is parking at the hotel, there are not many spaces and it is hard to find. There are other carparks very close by at similar prices. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars was that the bathroom was so dimly lit that I found it hard to shave. "
Hotel Heritage
"Checkin person was a bit weird, but the stay was generally absolutely fine."
Hôtel le Valois, Cognac Centre
"Welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite, downside this year very little hydrostatic paper remained in the unwinder coupled with 2 rolls. . Despite my report, I was told at reception that there was enough paper, that the room had been made before my arrival and that I did not know how to operate the coupled unwinder and I was kindly explained that when a roll is empty you push to bring the opposite full roll. And,,, they agreed with me, there was almost nothing left, fortunately for the train journey I had brought a full roll But otherwise everything is impeccable and the staff greet you even when they pass you in the street and they are off duty. So I want to point it out, I just said a downside"
Kyriad Angouleme Nord - Champniers
"Close to the national highway but quiet. The breakfast is ok and the staff very friendly. The hotel is old, the rooms have been renovated but it must have been a while. There was a big spider in my room, not cool. The hotel remains practical but the value for money is not good. "
Ibis Styles Angoulême Centre
Cit'Hotel le Cheval Blanc Cognac Centre
"Worst 3* hotel ever stayed in 10m2 room for double requested Above 1m75 you can no longer use the toilet...shower also not waterproof and tiny Very noisy and noise from the street Positive points: generous welcome and breakfast Move on"
Sure Hotel by Best Western Angouleme
"The reception very kind, gave us a clear instruction as we checked in at 10pm. For one night all good."
