Hotel Romano House Reviews

Very nice place

The hotel is in a great location. There are three supermarkets nearby, which makes it easy to buy mineral water and fruit. It is also within walking distance to the attractions. The front desk service is very thoughtful and warm, which makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast is average, but still acceptable. The room has a small terrace, which is great! There is also a restaurant near the hotel, Trattoria Casalinga da Nino Mannion, which serves good food at a reasonable price.

The staff at the reception were so friendly~ When I told them it was my first time in Catania, they spread out a map and recommended good places to visit!! They also introduced tours and conveniently called a taxi to the airport on the day of check-out :)

The service is very good, the lady at the front desk is very nice. The room is a bit small, and the environment around the hotel feels a bit unsafe, but the location is convenient for sightseeing.

Very warm welcome, we arrived well before check-in time but we were able to leave our luggage which was then taken to our room. The receptionist, very kind and friendly, gave us a map of Catania and gave us good advice for walking and for restaurants. We went for lunch and then came back. The room was very large and very well appointed, the bedding excellent and the bathroom very nice and pleasant. The hotel has a design decoration while keeping the majesty of the old palace. We slept very well because the street is relatively quiet and there is very good double glazing. The breakfast is very generous, served as a buffet in a pleasant room. We enjoyed having, among other things, fresh fruit. When we left, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel to take a leisurely stroll around Catania, our plane being in the evening. The receptionist called us a taxi to the airport. We are delighted with our stay at the Romano House hotel and we highly recommend this hotel which is excellent value for money.
