Albergue As Pozas Termais
"This is a great hostel and is in a great location. The staff were very friendly. However I encountered bed bugs in my bunk! I did not bring my bag into my bunk as there is a locker provided outside the dorm. There seemed to be a lot of bed bugs in my bunk. I brought it to the attention of the manager who offered me alternative accommodation, however this was very late at night and I was a leaving early the following morning. "
Hotel Pousada Real ★★★★
"I entered this charming little hotel after finishing a 14 mile leg of the Camino Portuguese in a driving rainstorm. They had my room ready, gave me a piece of equipment that would dry my shoes overnight and were so kind. My shower was hot and my room, while small, was very cute and immaculate. Because the rain continues all night, I never left the hotel. I had dinner here and it was also good."
Hotel Roquiño ★★
"If you are on the Camino then this is the place to stay on Caldas de reis - the food was great, rooms excellent and receptionist was excellent as well. There is a hotel restaurant but we went out for an Italian, as the hotel restaurant didn’t open to 8pm. Great nights sleep."
Balneario Acuña ★★
"After a long walk, we wanted to have a nice massage. The ladies were very nice but although we have asked them to massage just legs instead of the whole body, they ignored it and went on as they planned to. They didn’t even gave a foot massage. Only maybe for a half a minute in total. It costs 59 eur for 50 min. We felt disappointed.better to use those massage chairs than pay for this."
Hotel Sena ★★
"Single room was no more than cupboard . No air con. 1 plastic disposable cup in a dirty and old bathroom. No bottled water. Overall poor . One night was enough. Noise from the road all night. Dated furnishings through the hotel. Lacked atmosphere and welcome."
Torre do Rio ★★★
"After a long day of Camino walking, staying at this hotel was truly the perfect choice. The location is amazing — surrounded by nature, with the peaceful sound of the river flowing right beside it. It felt so calming and restorative after hours of walking. The atmosphere is quiet, beautiful, and deeply relaxing. Waking up to the sound of water and greenery around you makes the whole experience very special and memorable. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and gave us the rest we really needed after the Camino journey. The food was exceptionally good. We ordered the grilled octopus and the steak, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and very good quality. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. This place is more than just a hotel — it feels like a peaceful retreat in nature. It is truly one of the best experiences we had during our trip. Highly recommended and a must-stay if you are visiting Cádiz or walking the Camino and need a beautiful, relaxing place to recharge."
Villa Galicia ★★
"It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful location, comfortable and cozy, perfect for enjoying with friends, partners, or family. Highly recommended, and the woman who served us was a 10/10."
Pensión Caldas ★
"Terrible, everything was terrible. Dirty bathroom, dirty windows, the smell of food from the bar wafted through the rooms, the stairs were awful. If security came, they'd force them to close. The entrance is through the bar, and the lady there didn't notice a thing, absolutely nothing. All she said was, "Oh, I don't know, I didn't notice." Terrible."
