I would especially like to mention the peace and quiet that you will experience. And last but not least the lounge and pool area. I would strongly recommend the kikongo lodge voor a stay. "Dark, worn and very smelly rooms, bed linen and mosquito nets with holes and dirt, bathroom repulsive due to black mold and yellowed toilets/seats. Advertised pool and fitness center unusable - dirty, not maintained, outdated, a source of danger. Rude staff, especially in the restaurant. Food a disaster, drinks out of date. Only the gardens were well-kept and attractive."

"First visit to my friend Stefan’s lodge and got a warm welcome from the staff who quickly settled us into things with a welcome juice and then shown to our rooms… pool and pool area with bar inc view were fantastic, rooms also, good size, very clean and good view of the surroundings too… the restaurant food was great with a diverse selection 😀 cold beers served at end of the day were a great tonic also.. All in all a great weekend stay and fully recommend it.. we did Murchison falls about 1hr 30 away which also which makes this a good option for that if you’re into safaris 🐘 🦁 🐊 🦛…PS the lodge Doggo Zumba and her puppies are very cute and friendly and Teddy the cat also… haha.."

"I must say that it was a fairly good experience overall. There were aspects I appreciated, but there were also some notable drawbacks. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I found the rates to be quite fair considering the hotel's location and amenities. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, making check-in easy and smoothe. However, one aspect that left me quite disappointed was the pricing of the meals at the hotel's restaurant. While I expected some level of premium pricing due to the location, I found the cost of meals to be extremely high. I also dont know where there is a TV set in the room when it shows no channel On the whole, it is a decent choice for accommodation with fairly good rooms offered at fair rates. Though one might want to explore dining options outside the hotel which might be a more budget-friendly."

"Whenever we come to Uganda, we MUST come to The Haven! Everything is just perfect here: the food is delicious and the breakfast comes with a great variety of eggs, fruit, bread, pancakes and even Nutella!
