"Good day, the hotel is unfortunately showing its age...the shower door is missing...the bathroom cabinet is crooked and uneven...the toilet keeps running...breakfast is okay, if you mean orange juice by the name of fruit juice...there's no orange juice (it comes from Spain, after all), otherwise only hibiscus juice. The omelet/boiled eggs worked after several attempts. OK...that's Africa...? The rooms are really very clean...request a change of linen...100 is enough. The location to the beach is great...very nice beach bars to the left and right...great beach. Manicures and pedicures 200 D. Please use a taxi in the evening, as this area is considered dangerous at night. Not an issue in or around the hotel, as a judge lives across the street and is guarded by police. Conclusion: too expensive for the price of the room and the service provided. Regards"

"Had a lovely time, the staff were very friendly and helpful, The rooms were very clean and tidy with lots of space and lots of facilities (especially for the Gambia) There was 2 rooms, 1 bedroom with double bed and lockable wardrobe size storage the other room had 2 sofas and a table, small fridge, smart TV (but I didn't use so don't know much about that). Hot water shower 🚿 clean toilet 🚽 with flush , ceiling fans in both rooms and all for 1300 dallasies ( about £14) a night . Originally paid for one night online before I arrived but decided to stay an extra night and that was no problem and also because I landed at 7:30 pm there was no way to check in at the latest time of 5:30 pm but that was not a problem when I arrived at about 8:30 pm and explained. Overall very pleased and would certainly use them again"

"Beautiful small hotel with a big welcome. Nina, Alois and Rudl (the cat) were very kind and solicitous hosts who carefully checked that all was well and were very helpful with details of trips and money changing. The food in the hotel was consistently excellent with a sufficiently varied menu for a week or two’s stay. The rooms are large and comfortable with all expected amenities and kept very clean by the friendly staff. We took several trips to see a little more of life in the Gambia and were expertly guided by both Mohammed and Dudu. There are plenty of places in the grounds for a peaceful days’ sunbathing and the bird life is very entertaining. We didn’t spend too much time on the beach as the amount of rubbish was off-putting (this may have just been unfortunate timing as we arrived just after the end of Ramadan celebrations when there had been lots of people on the beach). Everyone we encountered was friendly and kind and we would happily return."
