From the front deck, you look right out over the beach area and dock where there are kayaks, canoe and rowboat for the free use of our guests. Recently finished home on wooded, residential road in Bass Harbor, on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island (renovations completed spring 2012). Home has a great layout and comfortably accommodates a large family, two families, or several couples. The kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, fixtures, and many furnishings are brand new. A gas fireplace in the living room can take the chill off a Maine morning or evening. Bedrooms include a king-sized master with private bath, queen-sized bedroom, and a bunk room which sleeps 4. There is a front porch and large rear deck off the kitchen. The home is tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The owners have young children and are happy to accommodate yours. Pets negotiable.Come visit all that Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park have to offer, while enjoying spacious, comfortable accommodations at this beautiful cottage in the woods.
