In the Spirit of Nags Head - As you pull into the driveway there is parking that leads you under the home. There is an outdoor shower located here for your convenience to rinse off outside prior to going in after an enjoyable day at the beach!Go up one flight of stairs to the main entrance. This leads you into the level with 4 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom, king bed and tiled shower! Two of the larger suites have a wet bar as well for your added enjoyment! One of the larger suites has a spacious desk with printer to keep you productive while away! Three of the four bedrooms have slider doors that lead out to the deck facing Pond Island!Washer and dryer located on the bedroom level.Go up one internal flight of stairs to the top-level open concept Living room and eat-in well stocked kitchen. Large couch and two swivel chairs to accommodate eight in the living room with large flat screen TV above the gas fireplace. Open shelving kitchen with stainless appliances with a bonus second fridge to house your drinks or catered items! Coffee bar and Half bath also located on this level! Panoramic water views from every angle and therefore no window treatments needed at top level! Slider door from the living room takes you to another level of decking along with a spiral staircase to take you to the very top deck for more unobstructed views - the Town of Manteo, Jockeys Ridge, Jeanette’s Pier, the Bodie Lighthouse, watch the fishermen drive back to their slip in the distance as they head towards the Marc Basnight bridge, the views are endless! Inside of house is just under 2000 square feet; however, enjoy 3000 square feet of rooftop and deck! *Custom made dining table located in the open kitchen area similar to an island dining space! Sea Spray Cottages were built in 1950. There are 5 cottage in total, each cottage is similar to the others, but unique in its own way. My wife and I have been operating the SEA SPRAY COTTAGES OBX for vacation rentals since 2009. We run a mom & pop operation, an experience from a day gone-by but thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.Cottage #4 is very unique to the outer banks; it is a one-bedroom cottage. It is perfect for couples who want to spend time at the beach in a well-appointed space without distraction from others. The cottage has a large great room with living, dining, kitchen, and desk space. The bedroom has a queen-size bed (linens and towels NOT provided) and tiled bath with tub/shower combination. Cottage #4 has a wrap-around porch that has a seating area to enjoy your favorite beverages at and a private outdoor dining area. There also is a patio in the rose garden for sunning on days that the beach may be a little too cool. Check in is at 4 and check out is at 10.Dogs are welcome, we try to keep it to 2 (the cottages are primarily for folks). $125 for the first two and $100 each after that. Also unique to the Outer Banks, Cottage #4 is available for nightly stays even during the summer. In the summer we do have a 3-night minimum. The location of Sea Spray Cottages OBX is ideal. Centrally located at Mile Post 11.7 in Nags Head, just south of the Nags Head pier and north of Snowbird Soft Serve Ice Cream Shop. It is on the west side of the 'beach road' and faces the cottages that backup to the ocean (they are ocean front). If your desired dates of travel are not available in this cottage, we have others.
