The Bungalow is just a 5-minute walk to the beach and a short walk to restaurants & pubs!The beach bungalow is situated on the Northside and is just about a 5-minute walk to the beach! The place is within walking distance to restaurants/pubs, coffee shops, bike & kayak rentals.The bungalow is on the SAME PROPERTY as the GUESTHOUSE which we also rent. So you will pass fellow guests in the front yard only. The home and backyard are completely separate. The bungalow is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just off an unpaved road on the North-end of Tybee (less crowded beaches); yet only 1 mile from the action of Tybee’s main hot spot “Tybrisa Street’.The bungalow is completely furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge, microwave, four-burner stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, and all essential cooking ware (pots, pans, etc. ) Also, it includes all dish and flat ware (utensils, plates, glasses).The main bedroom has queen bed. It had a firm, comfortable mattress. This room includes a 27-inch TV. It has a closet and a dresser with plenty of room for your luggage and clothes.The living room has a comfortable sofa. You can sit and enjoy a 47 inch flat screen HD-TV that includes a Roku for streaming in case you feel like staying in and relaxing. The TV has HDMI inputs, so feel free to bring your devices.The full bathroom has all essential towels, hand towels and wash rags.Tybee Island is a funky, colorful, little island. Our bungalow is on the quiet side of the island (North Beach)... Thus, beach access is less crowded. It also has many attractions such as: Dolphin tours, kayak and jet ski rentals, bike paths, climb the famous Lighthouse, or visit the Marine center. There are numerous activities to do on Tybee, we have a guide booklet that lists the all the additional attractions.Jaycee Park is a 3-minute walk. The park has scenic streams with turtles, basketball court, softball field, playground, picnic tables and grills. Beautiful live oak trees and a peaceful walking/bike path. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there are two bunk beds tucked away in a hallway, hideaway. Kids love it!!The condo is also handicapped accessible. The elevator takes you directly into the unit so there are no stairs. The master bathroom is equipped with bars for the shower, tub and toilet.Entire condo and private community pool.We are always available to meet you or to answer any questions.Great location, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but close to everything!Walking distance to everything. Bikes and golf carts also are a fun way to get around. The island also has several local taxi companies the are extremely reasonable.**Please note, we provide "start up" supplies such as: a few trash bags, a roll of paper towels, a couple of rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a few dishwasher pods and a few washing machine pods. If you anticipate you might need more of these items, you are encouraged to bring it. You are allowed TWO parking spaces at this complex. There are no options for more vehicles. There is paid street parking available.A few other notes: We are located in the hot & humid south, near the water where bugs love to be too! Please be aware that you may encounter our local bug-"the palmetto" bug at some point during you stay. This is not a cleanliness issue but an environmental one and something that cannot be helped. The unit is sprayed on a regular, monthly basis.We provide beach towels, but we do not provide beach chairs or umbrellas due to storage space. You can rent both on the beach during the peak season or from Tim's Bikes & Beach Gear Rentals all year round. This unit is available for long term rentals during the off season-Dec. 2023-March 2024.
