"I’m very sensitive and find travel difficult due to chemicals, EMF and limited food choices. Hotel Goldener Berg was perfect for me on all levels and beyond. My room was beautiful (with the most amazing views of the alps - see photos) and had no chemical smell. They’re eco certified so all products are good for sensitive types. There’s a switch to turn power off in the room for electrical detox. I did this at night and slept so well. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many healthy options (even a make your own fresh juice station) as well as more traditional buffet food. All extremely high quality and delicious. The restaurant was accommodating to my dietary requirements and the food there was beautiful also. There’s a tea station where you can brew your own herbal teas with dozens of options! The saunas were the nicest I’ve experienced, pristinely clean and the traditional one was really hot. They also have a lower temperature bio sauna with herbal infusions. The staff were courteous and friendly, every detail has been thought of here. It really was perfect. I highly recommended a visit here in the summer time if you enjoy nature, hiking, yoga, spa treatments or just relaxing in a beautiful place with clean air. I feel so good after my stay here :)"

"Very friendly service, the food not at the expected level. Sole for €90 lukewarm, served almost cold, tasteless Wiener schnitzel, breading soft and light beige. Unfortunately rather disappointing, especially in comparison to the all-round upscale gastronomy on offer at the Arlberg"

"This was a special stay. We booked early, already somewhere in December, for our stay beginning of June a stay on our cycling holiday from Belgium to Italy. But somewhere end January, beginning of February the hotel decided - for all sound reasons - to reduce opening days in Spring (a traditional low season period) and close on Sundays and Mondays. We had booked arriving Monday. As we were not flexible in the day of our stay, the hotel manager prepared a room for us and personally gave us a warm welcome and walked us to our room. We had a very relaxing night in the hotel where we were the only guests. A special experience with many thanks to Tomas, the manager."

The Food was excellent, the choices for breakfast and dinner were various and very tasty. The room was spacious and mine had a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is easy to reach and it’s very convenient to get to various access points to the slopes in the surrounding area within just a few miles. I would come back in a heartbeat."

"Stäfeli Hotel provided guest with such an exceptional hospitality. The services provided were so professional, personalized and genuine to the point that I felt like I was staying in my family or friend’s house. I stayed in room 27 and it was furnished to high standard. The hotel has a top-notch spa, with incredible swimming pool nicely attended to by a staff named Min Mang Shapon. The hotel front desk staff Veronika genuinely and warmly welcomed guests. The hotel staff anticipated the guest needs and went above and beyond to make guest have a memorable experience. Amongst many examples was arriving at the restaurant one evening without my reading glasses to look through the menu. I got up to go back to my room to get the glasses, but the waiters told me to relax as they provided me with reading glasses of different ranges to choose from. That was amazing hospitality! They provided personal comfort and connection in their thoughtful and proactive actions. The dinner was amazing and all thanks Chef Gitti who also happened to be the owner. The waiters Davor, Sunam, Thomas fostered a sense of personal connection and quite frankly exceeded all expectations. There was fantastic breakfast with waiter called Garry attentively anticipating the guest needs. This was followed by a generous afternoon snack. The hotel has one of the most relaxed atmospheres I have ever come across in a guesthouse. The owner Gitti and her daughter went above and beyond to make guest have a memorable experience. The entire staff are quite frankly an asset to that establishment. I could easily write a whole book on how incredible this hotel experience was."
