Willows, Blackburn by Marston's Inn ★★★★
"The TV has no remote control. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Recommended"
Hotel Rafay ★★★
"We arrived late at night with a fully paid, confirmed booking and were refused check-in by staff with no legitimate explanation. What made the situation worse was the attitude: staff were immediately hostile and abusive, and openly boasted that we "wouldn’t get our money back" and that they didn’t care about consumer protection or hotel booking obligations. This was an extremely distressing situation late at night, which left us at risk of being stranded. The only reason we were able to recover our money was because we booked through a third-party platform, who intervened and processed a refund. Had we booked directly with the hotel, I have no confidence that a refund would have been handled fairly or at all. Refusing entry to paying guests and then behaving aggressively when challenged is completely unacceptable. If you value basic professionalism, safety, and being treated with respect, do not stay here."
Hampton by Hilton Blackburn ★★★
"The hygiene is a bit poor. There are mold spots in the bathroom, and the table wasn’t properly cleaned—it had some sticky residue on it, though I’m not sure what it was. However, the staff had a good attitude."
Premier Inn Blackburn Town Centre ★★★
"A plain modern looking multistorey hotel in central Blackburn close to the Cathedral and Railway Station. There is an open unsupervised car park close by that guests can use free of charge."
Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"The castle was converted into a hotel, it is very large and a good choice in the local area."
The Fernhurst by Greene King Inns ★★★
"Decent place to stay"
The Millstone, Mellor ★★★★★
Best Western Hotel 99 ★★★★
"Room was so clean and comfy, the bathroom was 5 star all day, I have the misfortune of staying in many hotels due to my job, this was by far the best I’ve stayed in, not just recently but ever, please keep doing what you’re doing as it works, great for the concert hall, a 3min walk!"
The Avenue Hotel ★★★
"Nice hotel, decent location and with a really nice breakfast (cooked breakfast was excellent). Price was fair, and comparable to local hotels, room was quiet and decently furnished with the only down side being a tired bathroom that needed a bit of TLC, but that's it really. Also has a nice bar."
