The hotel is well located and it is well connected to public transportations. Recommend if you visit Berlin for the first time.

The room had a terrible smell. It smelled of an old unwashed man. Dirty carpets, dirty towels, holes in bed linen. Overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired.
I appreciate it that after my complaint nice staff gave me a different room, but that new room was smelly as well, I figured it was because of the bad air conditioning system, and I guess old untended carpets also contributed to the problem. In the new room the towels looked clean, but they smelled of fried patties.
Overall, it was an awful experience, it was hard to breathe with the air conditioner on as it made the room stinky and humid. That's why I decided to refrain from using it. Luckily, the temperature outside did not exceed +30°C during my stay.
This is definitely not a 4-star hotel!!! It barely deserves even 1 star.

Great location - close to Aleksanderplatz, grocery store nearby, close to public transport.
We were lucky and they checked us in early (~10), which was very nice.
The room has a beautiful view and the windows open. Nice bathroom. Clean. Delicious coffee.
The only caveat is that at the peak of breakfast (around 10 am), it can be difficult to wait for the elevator.
