Pretty cool place and excellent location, we enjoyed our stay in a private room and almost everything worked out great. Our room keys stopped working, and when I visited the reception I was informed the key was expired, even though I had the room booked on more night. The staff were not very helpful and didn't see a reason to apologize for this inconvenience.

Great for what it is. Good social atmosphere but can be a little load as a result. Rooms are quite small and beds a bit creaky but comfortable.

If you like a prison cell room in a 24hr nightclub this is your place. It was a competely different experience to the hostels I remember as a student traveller thirty years ago. Full of 20-somethings partying all night and sleeping all day in our 4 bunk cell. Not my cup of tea at all. Also everything inside over-priced. The corporate vibe of the hostel chain was evident in their not missing a beat adding a few more Euros charge to everything you could possibly need (towels, ping-pong bats, lockers, their vending machines). All activities appeared to be run through outside commercial suppliers with 20 euro upfront charge for most things. Basically staying here for two was more expensive than the Sheraton. Desk staff also seemed pretty clueless when it came to advice and/or tips about tourist options in the city. I couldn't wait to leave.

This hostel is good. It has comfortable beds. The facility is modern. The location is very good just near the city center. It has a coffee shop and a bar as well. There is a place to sit downstairs and people can work there. There was no A/C in the room so it could be hot during the summers but it was fine when I was staying there. If you arrive early, they will not keep your luggage for free. There are lockers that you can rent for different hours which are expensive. They do not have kitchen and no microwave oven or water heating kettle. Overall, my experience was good.

very close to berlin hbf. we had some problems so that we weren't able to check in the first night, but they were happy to help us out. i would hope a towel would be free though

(private ensuite) pretty good.
pros: decent location, walkable to many places. a few shops and many restaurants around the area which is good. really friendly staff and nice cozy interior. easy check ins and check outs. really comfortable bedding.
cons: the room looked like it was unfinished because the lights werent installed properly and there were random holes in the walls etc but i didnt really care. the rooms did lack storage like shelves, you get a shampoo/body wash. you can request stuff like hairdryer and more from reception. for housekeeping you do have to ask at reception as well which is a bit of a hassle but its alright.
