Hotel Shattuck Plaza
"It was stated that a quiet room was needed, but I was given a room next to the gym. When people were exercising, I could hear the noise in the room. I felt that the front desk did it on purpose. The advantage is that it is close to the subway station."
Residence Inn by Marriott Berkeley
"Very nice clean with extremely friendly staff and amazing breakfasWe thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit. The establishment was remarkably spotless, which we truly appreciated. Furthermore, the team members were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast offerings were also quite delightful. We would highly recommend this accommodation."
University Inn & Suites Berkeley
"Service staff are very friendly"
Sather Berkeley, SureStay Collection by BW
"Poor service, substandard facilities, unpleasant odor in the bathroom, and someone else's hair on the bed sheets. Avoid this hotel; anyone who stays here will regret it."
Graduate by Hilton Berkeley
"Visiting UCB, the hotel was very close to the campus, the environment was nice, and there were many restaurants nearby. The service was excellent. Breakfast included a choice of one drink and one snack. The only downside was the limited water flow."
Claremont Resort & Club
"Service was excellent!"
Downtown Berkeley YMCA Hotel and Residence
"The noise and smell were quite bothersome, so I ended up rebooking and moving to a different hotel. While it's close to the station, the hotel's entrance was a bit unusual."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
"I used to stay at this hotel multiple times in the course of visiting family in the area. Parking was free, the hotel was well kept, and the free chocolate chip cookies were delicious. No more. The hotel installed a gate to the parking area, made no other visible changes, and now charges $40 per car per night. This is not downtown LA, this is a hotel located out in an open area away from crowded areas, with just a couple of adjacent commercial buildings nearby. There seems to be no reason to charge THIS LEVEL of overnight parking except to transfer funds from you to them. But more than that, the hotel has gotten noticeably shabbier. Dings and scuffs in hotel hallways not repaired, duct tape used as a "fix" for torn and worn hallway carpeting, and even the cookies aren't as good. I will stay somewhere else next time."
Nash Hotel
"If this is considered a hotel, then the guesthouses in the village are better than this😳 The hygiene is too poor! The quilt on the bed, I guess someone else didn't change it after sleeping on it, there were blood stains and everything on it, On the first day, it was too late at night, so I had no choice but to stay. On the second day, I asked for a change, but the other party actually told you to change the sheets yourself, saying that the waiter was not on duty that dayAfter we refused to change the sheets ourselves, I guess it was the boss who said that I had to change it myself, and he was only willing to change one bed! What era is this? I don't know how a place that is not as good as a hostel can think of being on this platform, The fee is not cheap, I strongly recommend that Ctripdo an on-site evaluation of the selected hotels in the future, and you can't just add the platform to payand then pretend to be a hotel on the platform! This kind of store is too horrible, and it has seriously affected the reputation of the Ctrip platform itself."
