Best Bentota Hotels

"This is definitely one of the worst managed four star resort. The facilities are nice even though we did not use them. The rooms are ok, but not up to a four star standard. The resort is not well managed. We had the buffet breakfast in the resort- when we walked in , there used to be almost no clean tables available. After I got the table, I paid attention to the amount of the time that is needed for the staff to clean and set up the dirty table ready to use for other guests. It was never ready even after I finished my breakfast. There are many other issues in the buffet breakfast. Long queue for omelet, coffee, and the plates for fresh fruits are always empty. The poor guy who is cutting the fruits is too busy to fill in the fruit plates. I thought the fruit should be prepared and cut for the breakfast rather than prepare on the spot. There is also some billing mistake (not surprised), although it was settled later on, but I waited for at least 20 min to get the bill to be adjusted etc. overall, the price is not value for your money."

"Stayed at Prince Beach Hotel Bentota with family. The biggest highlight of this property is definitely its excellent location, right by the beach, which made it very convenient and enjoyable for us. However, overall cleanliness, service, and amenities were average and could use some improvement. The staff was polite, but the experience did not fully match expectations. With better maintenance and upgraded facilities, this hotel has great potential because the location is truly fantastic."

"It's just average. There may not be any fast-food hotels in China. I just made do with it for a one-day stay. The mineral water in the room is in large glass bottles. I don't know what kind of water it is. There is no supermarket nearby. I just drank it. There are impurities in the water. I'm not satisfied with it as a whole. There was no breakfast in the morning. When I asked if there was any breakfast, they only served a pot of coffee. The only thing I was very satisfied with was the view. There is a private beach right outside the door. It's clean and beautiful!"

"The hotel is well-known, a little old, but the area and overall atmosphere are normal. The price/quality ratio is reasonable. An excellent restaurant overlooking the ocean and a very strange restaurant where breakfast and dinner are held (reviews on Google maps) confirm this. The beach is a little dirty, but this is not a problem of the hotel but of the local population in general."

"Хороший отель на берегу океана, с отличным дизайном в колониальном стиле, обслуживащий персонал очень приветливый, еда вкусная, но очень много вопросов к чистоте, пыль в комнатах вообще протирают или нет? Текстиль нужно полностью поменять"

"攜程網訂的史密斯夫婦天堂之路酒店，但當地人壓根沒聽過這個名，當地叫the villa，也叫KK collection 這就是巴瓦的莫霍提莊園，70年代還是舊祖屋，後來被巴瓦買下做了斯里蘭卡第一家精品酒店。巴瓦找了幾個朋友都沒買，最後他自己買下來，必然是很有趣的，透過圍牆上的窗子就能看見火車，院子出去就是鐵軌🛤️和印度洋。酒店有點像廈門鼓浪嶼的小洋樓，小巧精緻美麗，適合拍照打卡，當天剛好看見一組人為新人拍婚紗照。房間豪華而舒適，看見火車過，趕緊又拍了兩個小視頻。巴瓦大師的建築，必須五分好評。"

"A beautiful place! Quiet, quiet rest with first-class service. When settled, we improved the room - just a cafe. Personnel wonderful - all in their place. All wishes are executed instantly, but at the same time uninterrupted. Classic pool and garden. Very beautiful beach 2 minutes walk. A delicious breakfast. Also we had 2 times lunch at the restaurant - delicious! This was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka in 28 days! Thank you! The train is going through the hotel area, but it looks very cool and unusual! Lyfhak: Railways reach the city 15 minutes. The main part of the road can be passed by side of the rails)"

"I stayed at Nyne Hotel recently and it truly felt like a five-star experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism and warmth. They were attentive, punctual and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, set in a peaceful garden close to the sea. It's very calm and relaxing, the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. The food was exceptional. Each dish was carefully prepared and presented, more like something you would expect from a Michelin-star restaurant than a typical hotel. It was both delicious and beautifully done. l've stayed in many places around the world, but Nyne Hotel really stands out. The combination of the setting, the food and the genuinely professional staff makes it a special place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bentota."

"Никогда еще не тратила столько нервов в поездке. 1 - забронировала даты, все подтвердили, а в итоге хозяин написал, что не может разместить последние две ночи и это их ошибка, договорились, что переселят в другой отель. По прибытии выяснилось, что комнату нам все-таки предоставят (после нашей просьбы). 2 - комнату бронировали с завтраками, а оказалось, что у хозяина оплачен только номер без завтраков. Нам было озвучено, что это уже не первый раз (не понимаю, почему хозяин не решает эту проблему , сваливает вину на клиента, который забронировал не напрямую , а через посредников, говорит, что это не моя проблема). Кое как выбили завтраки, хозяин сказал это от него комплимент. Остался неприятный осадок, будто мы выпросили эти завтраки. На завтрак почти буханка хлеба (хлеб мы вообще не едим , пришлось есть, так как деваться некуда было), после ругани нам предоставили какое-то разнообразие пару раз. Впервые с таким ужасом сталкиваюсь. Хозяин сотрудничает с трип ком и уверяет что он с ними дело не имеет и их не знает.  Плюс: в отеле чисто , красивый вид с балкона. На этом всё. Никому бы не посоветовала здесь оставаться, есть отели ближе к берегу, местоположение этого гестхауса оставляет желать лучшего. Прямой дороги к пляжу нет, только закоулками , в итоге не менее 30-40 минут дорога занимала до океана."
