"The staff here could not be more attentive. The rooms are large and comfortable, with good quality tea and proper coffee provided. The pool is a bit shallow but spotlessly clean. If you use a sunbed someone immediately provides you with a cool drink of water. There us a railway line between the hotel and the beach but it never disturbed us. There are lots of nice restaurants along the beach if you wanted to eat out."

"Couldn't fault this hotel. My room was upgraded to a sea view de luxe room and it was fantastic. It was well cleaned every day by Jinendra who also left an amusing 'towel animal' for me daily! Breakfast in the Palms Restaurant was superb, plenty of choice and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Sam was exceptional and went out of his way to get everything I asked for. Madhuka and Dimli also deserve a special mention. The SHACK seafood restaurant was excellent and good value. We also had some evening meals in the Palms Restaurant. They offer a magnificent buffet but we ordered a la carte and were not disappointed. We ventured outside the hotel for an evening meal on a few occasions (across the railway line) but found the standard to be mediocre and not that cheap compared with what was available at the hotel. The swimming pool was easily accessible (graduated steps) and the water wonderfully warm. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger after breakfast although many are obviously reserved early. The extensive beach is lovely for walks. There are sun loungers in the shaded area in the trees but these have to be paid for. The hotel offers a number of daytime activities and there is evening entertainment. A wonderful stay and I would highly recomment this hotel."

"There were some stains on the bed linen, but apparently it just couldn't be washed out, I found one or two. Otherwise, everything was super, clean, nice to sit and the rooms are great, the hotel grounds are pleasing to the eye, as is the location itself, the beaches are clean, there are few people, it's the best place to walk and chill, the prices are reasonable. The buffet is great, the staff is pleasant to talk to."
