IU Properties in Beijing

We had a pleasant stay at IU Hotel (Beijing Panjiayuanxi Subway Station Cancer Hospital). The location is convenient, especially for visitors who need easy access to the nearby subway station and Cancer Hospital. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided good value for money. I would especially like to commend the receptionist, Yang, for the excellent service. Yang was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their warm attitude made the stay much more enjoyable and welcoming. There are only two minor issues that could be improved. First, the room was not well insulated from noise, and we could hear conversations and activity from the reception area quite clearly. Second, the faucet near the door had an unpleasant smell whenever it was used. Addressing these issues would make the guest experience even better. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a convenient and affordable option in Beijing. Thank you, Yang, for the outstanding hospitality.

The environment is pretty good and clean. The facilities include an elevator with key card access, which feels very secure. There are plenty of food options downstairs, and you can also buy fruits. It's only 200 meters from the subway station, which is super convenient. Great value for money!

It was originally a good check-in experience: the staff are polite and enthusiastic, internal security requires card swiping, the room is reasonably arranged, the bedding is comfortable, there is a small smart system, the water flow is large and not blocked, and the hygiene is also very good. But there are two problems: There is a row of bungalows at the back of the first floor. The doors and windows are directly facing the guest room windows. The guest rooms can be clearly seen from outside, so it is impossible to open the curtains at all. Secondly, the soundproofing is poor on all sides. You can hear people talking outside the window, making phone calls next door, and talking in the room across the corridor. Especially on the night of April 12, a group of male guests talked loudly to each other in the corridor from 12 to 1 am. The noise was so loud that no one could fall asleep. In the end, guests from other rooms came out to persuade them. So since the sound insulation is very poor, I hope the hotel can do its job to inform and persuade. After all, many people staying here are tired airport passengers.

The hotel is new and the rooms are well-equipped. For the price, it offers good value for money. I recommend booking a room with a window, as the windowless rooms can feel stuffy and need ventilation. Everything else is pretty good. There are no breakfast options around the hotel, only a KFC. If you're planning an early trip to Universal Studios, you'll need to consider this beforehand.

The room was very clean and had no strange odors. The main bed was also quite large, at 1.35 meters, so an adult and a child could sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The environment was relatively good; there was some noise on the first day, but I realized in the daytime that the window wasn't closed properly. It was much better the second night. The staff were very friendly and promptly brought anything we needed. Overall, I was quite satisfied, though it's a bit of a walk to the subway, about 10 minutes, which can be tiring for a child.

The room looked a lot older than it looked in the pictures. The linoleum floor in front of the desk had a huge crack. There wasn't much to do. The metro station was about 15 minutes away. There was a landryroom on the 6th floor, which was easy to wash clothes.

This is my first choice for business trips. The service attitude of the front desk and the quality of the room lady are all very good. The facilities are also very complete and no deposit is required. The most important thing is the zero-pressure mattress and pillow, which are very comfortable to sleep with!

Hotel located in a convenient location for visiting Peking and Tsinghua university. Within walking distance to metro stations, restaurants and convenience stores. Hotel is clean but a bit dim, especially in the bathroom. If you are sensitive to noise it might not be good as you can hear noises from outside and in the corridors quite easily. There is daily room service and customer service is good. You can order take away and collect it from the first floor. Overall recommend!

The hotel is very clean and easy to find. There is a Lawson downstairs, which is very convenient. It is very comfortable and sanitary. The facilities are complete and the environment is very good. It is just right for me and my friends to stay here. I will come again next time.

The 3rd floor air-conditioning unit was very old and noisy so we asked to change rooms and they gave us a room on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor room was quite a bit better.
