Hotels in Gulou West Street/Nanshan Ski Resort, Beijing

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The reason why I keep staying here is because the price is reasonable and the location is good. The hotel is near the district government, next to the commercial street, and there are restaurants and supermarkets. This is a benefit of the location. Secondly, it is not far from the ski resort. It only takes 15-20 minutes to drive, but this also brings some problems: such as the hotel It should be an old apartment renovated. The facilities are relatively outdated. The bathroom environment and hygiene are average. Moreover, the hot water for bathing is not enough, so two people cannot wash continuously. Overall, if you come to ski and need accommodation, don’t be too picky about the place, it’s very cost-effective.

After a tiring week, my husband and I decided not to sleep in on Saturday. We headed straight to Hongluo Temple in Huairou, a popular internet-famous spot, where we strolled around for a bit. In the afternoon, we decided to go to Miyun for some fish and checked into Rehome Resort. The resort boasts a very European-style architectural design, featuring a main hotel building, villas, a wedding chapel, and the Hongcaifang restaurant. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, activities, and entertainment. The front desk staff's service attitude was exceptionally good; they were always ready to help with any request. I had gotten blisters on my feet from walking in the evening, and when I went to the front desk in the morning to ask for a plaster, a kind staff member found a waterproof one for me from the back, which was very thoughtful. Although the hotel's decor felt a bit dated, it was clean and tidy, with fully equipped facilities and first-class service. Overall, the experience was still quite impressive!

The most comfortable stay experience of this trip! The boss was super nice. When we asked about our itinerary, he also recommended places for us to go around. ^o^ (It’s a pity that some of us from the south never answered the questions.) We went to Miyun by high-speed train and received a call before it even got on, saying that he could pick us up. ! We went to Nanshan to ski, and the driver took us directly to the ski resort when he was free! Eating in a B&B is also very comfortable and the price is very affordable. Very tasty! ! ! The owner of the B&B said that this kitten named Erzhuzhu was not afraid of animals and was very clingy. It was really super cute! Like like like! I will go again next time! ! !

We were pleasantly surprised by the homely atmosphere upon arrival and were warmly greeted by the host (co-owner). We booked a room to accommodate 4 of us but realised upon arrival that it was a little too small to accommodate all of us. The host immediately gave us another adjoining room within the same chalet at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed, for example there were heat lamps above the shower stall so that one did not have to contend with the cold after a shower; and the bathroom lights were motion sensor activated so that one did not have to stumble around in the middle of the night. The place is well-kept and has excellent and personalised service. We were driven by the host to the Nanshan ski park and nearby places for dinner, and on the last day to the train station; all this at no extra cost. The in-house dinner was good and delicious and very reasonably priced. It is a cozy place for families to gather and engage in recreational activities. We were treated to a traditional tea session within the premises by the host, who was extremely gracious and warm. All the co-owners were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, making our short stay there a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you! We will return in the near future! :)

The room was spacious and easily accommodated a family of four. The decor was cozy, the toiletries were adequate, and the furniture was of good quality. The room faced south, receiving plenty of sunlight, and the corridor, enclosed by glass walls, was very warm. Surprisingly, the blankets were clean and had a wonderfully sunny scent. Breakfast and fruit were provided. The price was reasonable, and it was very close to the ski resort, just a few minutes away. I was extremely satisfied with this stay! 👍 I almost didn't choose this place, mainly because the photos were of very poor quality, making me think the room would be terrible. Therefore, I recommend taking a set of high-quality photos to attract more customers. The sign at the entrance was not prominent, and there were no directional signs, making it difficult to find. We entered through a company gate, which wasn't ideal. It would be better to hang the guesthouse sign on the right side of the main entrance and place the company sign on the left side. In short, I would stay here again next time I go skiing.

Location: This hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation. It is especially suitable for skiing enthusiasts because it is very close to Nanshan Ski Resort and only takes a few minutes to walk to. I love the place. The person in charged are all helpful. Despite the challenges to communicate, they went extra miles to help me to book Didi to go to Beijing city centre. Love the place. The only concern I had was the towel as they were disposable towels hence not comfortable and too thin. Other than that, superb.

Very clean homestay, the owner and his wife are very enthusiastic. Good location, 3 minutes walk from the ski resort, you can see the snow field on the balcony, the floor heating is very sufficient, and the indoor half-sleeves can be. Tired of playing, come back for a hot pot, laugh and laugh.

The lady owner was really friendly, helpful and nice. Help was immediately rendered whenever i need it. She recommended good local food places and also good ski rental shop to us, where we managed to get discounted nanshan ski resort ski tickets. Room was clean and my kids enjoyed the courtyard alot! Location is about 10mins walk to the Nanshan Ski Resort. A good morning workout before heading to the slopes! All in all, we enjoyed our stay alot. Thank you once again for your kind hospitality. The environment is very good, the room is very clean, there is floor heating, it is very comfortable to return to the room after skiing! It is also very close to Nanshan Snow Field, less than 5 minutes walk, very convenient! The boss is also very good 👍
