Beijing Miyun District Hotels

Situated in a village, the hotel is less than a 20-minute drive from Gubei Water Town. The surroundings are lovely, and it offers great value for money.

The room was pretty clean. We weren’t able to locate the hotel at first because it’s only in Chinese at the front door. No complaint about the room. However, we had ordered breakfast since check in, but they did not provide as we ordered. We only had 2 mains for the group of 4 people. It’s difficult to communicate since non speak Chinese so we just had the little food from the courtesy line.

The service of Neighbor Inn is warm and thoughtful, making people feel the warmth of home. The staff of the inn treat people politely and meticulously, they will care about the needs of the guests, and provide thoughtful services to the guests at all times. The warm service makes people feel more cordial and makes the journey more heart-warming. The food at the neighbor’s house is also very good. Braised pork with stinky mandarin fish in braised pork. Sitting by the river and enjoying the food is very comfortable. Next time I come to Shuizhen, I will definitely choose the neighbor’s house.

A homestay very close to Gubei Water Town. It is rare to see such a clean yard. It is located at the foot of the Panlong Mountain Great Wall. You can see the majestic Great Wall when you drive into the village. The yard covers a large area and there is a beautiful swimming pool. It can be seen that it is carefully cleaned. The yard is full of flowers. The pleasant environment makes people calm down all of a sudden. The owner enthusiastically introduced the surrounding attractions. We went to the Great Wall for a walk in the afternoon. The children can also play on the swings in the yard. This homestay also has delicious coffee. I will try to bring the elderly to play together next time~

It was my first time to this B&B. The owner had prepared welcome fruits and a hot spring bath before we arrived, which was very thoughtful. The B&B is located near Miyun City, about a 15-minute drive from Miyun City. If it is more convenient to drive by yourself, the B&B also provides a Wagyu hot pot buffet at night. If you don’t want to go to the city, you can also solve dinner in the hotel. The environment of the B&B is simple and clean, the hot spring bath is clean and private, and the surrounding is very quiet. There is a central air-conditioning heating system in the room, so it won’t be very cold at night, and there is a humidifier. The breakfast is diverse, and the store carefully prepares and arranges the dishes. They will ask the guests in advance when they will get up to ensure that the breakfast is still hot when they get up, which is very thoughtful. In short, it was a pleasant stay experience, and I give the store a thumbs up!

It was hot in the city, so I thought about going to Gubeikou to escape the heat. I saw that the weather forecast was also 40 degrees, so I was a little worried! After I came here, I found that it was still very cool here! The yard is two-story, the room is cool, and you don’t need to turn on the air conditioner when you sleep at night. Blowing the cool breeze from the mountains, eating a small barbecue, chatting with family and friends under the starry sky, a happy life is like this! The boss’s wife is easy-going and enthusiastic, and the boss’s cooking skills are perfect. After eating and drinking, go home to move bricks!

The hotel is located by the river, not far from food shops. It has a great location and an excellent view. The hotel is charmingly decorated, and the rooms are lovely as well. The breakfast is very good, the owner is friendly, and the price is quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

After a tiring week, my husband and I decided not to sleep in on Saturday. We headed straight to Hongluo Temple in Huairou, a popular internet-famous spot, where we strolled around for a bit. In the afternoon, we decided to go to Miyun for some fish and checked into Rehome Resort. The resort boasts a very European-style architectural design, featuring a main hotel building, villas, a wedding chapel, and the Hongcaifang restaurant. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, activities, and entertainment. The front desk staff's service attitude was exceptionally good; they were always ready to help with any request. I had gotten blisters on my feet from walking in the evening, and when I went to the front desk in the morning to ask for a plaster, a kind staff member found a waterproof one for me from the back, which was very thoughtful. Although the hotel's decor felt a bit dated, it was clean and tidy, with fully equipped facilities and first-class service. Overall, the experience was still quite impressive!

Stayed at S Hotel on a weekend trip. The hotel is very conveniently located. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to restaurants nearby. The room is spacious. The environment is clean and tidy. The decoration is simple. There is a paid parking lot for self-driving. I will stay here again next time I go to Miyun.

Highly recommended! This location is excellent. The room is very BIG, fitting for two people and two large suitcases. The tea in the room is very great!! The lobby is a bit small. The staff is friendly, though they don't speak English; using Google Translate is the best way to communicate. This water town is very beautiful. You should spend 1-2 nights here to visit the Great Wall both during the day and at night, as it's stunning at both times. Overall, it was great, and I'll be back.
