Married couple with a child travelling together. Amazing experience! The location is supreme. We took a taxi from Beijing to the door and enjoyed the walk in the afternoon. Had a relaxing evening and ate at the restaurant in the hotel. Highly recommend. Spotlessly clean!

This trip was very satisfied with the environment and service of the homestay. This time I brought a family to live in six rooms, including a mountain view bed room and five queen rooms or standard rooms. The homestay is the closest to the P1 parking lot. After coming down, you need to walk a short distance. The whole street where you are located is a homestay and a hotel, but it feels elegant and this one is still here. The decoration is attentive, not tacky, and the facilities are good overall. Entering the homestay, I entered the small garden. The layout is very warm and elegant. It is very comfortable to sit in the yard and chat and drink tea. There is a cafe and restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel. I like the decoration style of the cafe very much. Some of it is glass top. The sun shines in. Listening to music, reading books, drinking coffee is my favorite feeling. There is also a platform behind the cafe surrounded by mountains, with sofas and dining tables, and a small platform on the second floor, as well as dining tables and rocking chairs. As soon as you enter the yard and these two platforms, you can eat, drink tea and chat. At night, all the solar lights are on and the atmosphere is full. We brought our own ingredients for barbecue on the platform, and we felt very relaxed and comfortable. There is a small door on the back platform to go down, directly to a small stream, this season the creek is densely packed, the children do not need to copy the net later, directly on the hand, easy to fish a lot of cockroaches, observe a little to release. There is not much to play around, mainly to the Great Wall of Water, along the street at the entrance of the hotel, go directly to the west gate of the Great Wall of Water. There are homestays and shops along the street, but I bought chestnuts, millet cakes and peanuts without stepping on the pit. The taste is very good and the price is not high. The scenery of the Great Wall is still good. We chose a leisure tour. We took the cruise ship + walked to the chestnut garden + walked up the Great Wall + did the maglev down the mountain + the cruise ship returned. You can swim in about half a day. You can also choose to climb the Great Wall directly on foot, not take the cruise ship and maglev. There is also a road leading to the glass plank road and the water entry of the Great Wall. If you walk there, it should be quite tired. The commercial facilities of the attractions are similar to the attractions in the suburbs of Beijing and Tianjin, calling springs, boating, kayaking, children's playground and the like. I personally feel that if there is no such thing, the attractions will be more beautiful 😅 I have to thank the owner and staff of the hotel. The service is in place and everything is basically helped to solve it. All the facilities on the hotel platform are also provided for free use by guests, and they are very enthusiastic. The whole is also very clean and the bedding is more comfortable. The family members are very satisfied with the elderly and the dolls. I especially miss the feeling of cafes and coffee, and the platform around the mountain. I have the opportunity to take my friends again!

The B&B is at the foot of the Great Wall. There are no houses around, so it is very private and quiet. I also like the facilities inside the B&B. It is very quiet with few people. When we came, it was just after the rain, so we sat lazily in the yard and breathed in the fresh air. It was very suitable for enjoying the time leisurely.

The front desk service was excellent. They informed us that entrance tickets were free and we could get a discount on cable car tickets. The lady staff spoke very gently, and the gentleman even held the door open for us. The kids were absolutely thrilled when they saw the room, climbing up and down excitedly. Outdoors, there was a slide for them to play on. The property has its own dedicated parking lot. It wasn't very busy during our stay, so the evening was wonderfully quiet. You can catch a cable car right outside the exit, and another one is just a short walk uphill. This made visiting the Great Wall at night incredibly convenient, with no queues. Plus, we could quickly get back on the Great Wall the next day. Highly recommended!

The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly, she even helped us carry our bags up to the room. Our room was spacious and filled with natural light thanks to the large windows. Just note that the bathroom has an open layout, so you'll want to close all the blinds for privacy. The location is fantastic, right across the street from the Mutianyu entrance (with a small barrier in between). Keep in mind, there are no elevators, so if you're traveling with a lot of luggage, you may need to carry it up a few flights of stairs. There's also a great restaurant right next door. We tried the pork with chestnuts, which are locally sourced, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located 10 minutes from the entrance to the Great Wall of China. Nice woman at the reception 🩷 We arrived at the hotel at 8 am and our room was occupied (after all, check-in is only at 2 pm), but they checked us in right away and upgraded our room. The room was spacious, clean, we really liked the spacious beds, pillows with cereal and heavy soft blankets. And the room was also cool, despite the weather outside +25°. But we found heated beds and this saved us from the cold, and also turned on the warm heating in the bathroom. The breakfast was Chinese style, not everyone in our family liked it, but everyone found something to enjoy. And also at breakfast we had a pleasant conversation with the woman working at the hotel. Keep in mind that this place is not busy and there are few working cafes and one grocery store. After checking out, we were given a magnet, which touched my heart ♥️ Our family loved this place.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations – a truly fantastic experience! 1. The guesthouse's architecture and decor are incredibly unique and charming. What's even better is that it's within easy walking distance to the Great Wall section. 2. Staying here allowed us to get an early start on our hike up the Wall. We then enjoyed the toboggan ride down without any queues, completely avoiding the rush and making for a perfect off-peak visit. 3. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, especially for team-building retreats or corporate events. 4. The surrounding area boasts a charming local market to explore and a peaceful stream, which my whole family absolutely loved.

First of all, the service is very good, the quality of the hotel staff is also very high, and the hotel location is quite good. My family is hospitalized here, so I temporarily booked a hotel nearby. I believe in the standardization of the whole season, so I made a decision directly. The front desk downloaded the Huazhuhui app and gave me a free breakfast. But it's hard to give full marks to this room's facilities. 1. The trash cans are not clean; 2. This window setting is really dangerous. My partner and I were both caught, which means it is not a personal issue. Safety tips can be added; after giving suggestions to the hotel, they sent fragrance products to apologize; 3. There was a problem with the shower in room 608. Because I was going to and from the hospital for a meeting, I didn’t have time to report the problem and didn’t change the room. In short, the overall environment of the hotel is okay, the service is very good, but the facilities and supporting facilities may not be up to the expected standards.

Impressive looking building from the outside but a really slow check in. They had 4-5 staff members yet everything took longer than I’d expect. The room was basic and, for the price, underwhelming. In addition, the walls are marked and scuffed. One part of the wall had food stains. The carpet is stained. When we went to go to bed we found the linen was dirty. There were stains on both the duvet and the bed sheet! We called down for reception and they said sorry then sent a maid to change the duvet. I felt like good customer service would include at least having someone from customer service/reception come to check on us and the room, or calling us to check, or making a note to ask at check out. No follow up. Apart from this the room is a good size and felt spacious with a desk, sofa and large double bed. The bathroom also had 2 sinks and ample space for your things. The cupboards were also large with lots of hangers etc. There is a full ironing board. I was disappointed for the price (over ¥2000 a night) that even their basic rooms don’t have a coffee machine (like Nespresso etc). This seems to be standard in most hotels at this price range these days. Just instant coffee. As part of the price, the hotel included “free mini bar” which was just 1 can of coke, sprite and Fanta. All full sugar, no zero/diet. Only one side of the bed has plug socks for charging. Otherwise, there is a socket under the desk. The slippers constantly stuck to the tiled floor area which meant squeaky/sticky sounds as you walk around. I’m not sure if it was just the slippers or the floor coating but it was pretty irritating. The breakfast was good with a range of choices including pancakes, waffles, different types of bread, omelette/egg station, noodles, porridge etc as well as fried vegetables, salad, fruit and sausages etc. Lots of coffee machines dotted around the canteen. Location good if you want to go to the lake area and surrounds. There isn’t much walkable so to really take advantage you need a car , either a Didi or your own. You can rent bikes but anyone serious brings their own and cycles round the area. There are local restaurants about 1-2k away which is walkable. We had some ok local food for a good price. Disappointed not to find a modern cafe anywhere nearby, including the hotel. The coffee in the hotel was only the push button kind, like at breakfast buffets. No real cafe. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel and wouldn’t go back.

I stayed at the Qihu Hotel with my parents and daughter on May 2nd and checked out on May 4th. The hotel is close to Yanqi Lake and has a beautiful environment, especially the garden on the 3rd floor is beautiful, with a Jiangnan style. Sit on the leisure swing chair to enjoy the lake view and enjoy the holiday time! The Chinese restaurant has a comfortable environment and the dishes are also very good! In addition to the beautiful environment and complete facilities, the hotel also has very good service. The service in every place, such as the guest room and restaurant, is good. Especially the front desk check-in service staff Zhang Yu on the day of check-in is even more enthusiastic, taking care of my parents, and providing thoughtful service. We feel at home.
