AAnonymous UserWe had an amazing experience at Mandarin Island Hotel during our vacation in Boracay Island. The hotel combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service perfectly.
The beachfront location was ideal, giving us easy access to the beautiful white sand beach, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Our room was spotless, cozy, and very relaxing after a long day of exploring the island.
What made our stay extra special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They were always accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly recommend Mandarin Island Hotel to anyone visiting Boracay. Definitely a five-star experience!

Even though it's not directly on the beachfront, it’s only a quick 2-minute walk to the ocean. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the stay. GGuest UserThe top-floor room was a duplex, and my whole family loved it the moment we opened the door. We put the little ones in the big bed downstairs, and the oldest had enough space to himself upstairs. The surroundings were also great; just across the road was the beach, there's a restaurant downstairs, and a 7-Eleven next door.

LLino JennieHenan Lagoon is the best; this is my second stay, and they always do their best to serve well. All staff are friendly and very accommodating. Clean towels are provided daily along with beach towels. The buffet breakfast is great, though we usually just eat bread in the morning. I love staying here. It’s worth the price. They also offer tours for island hopping. Highly recommend!

AA Traveller_s Chronicle PhThe experience from this hotel Fairways & Bluewater exceeds my expectation in fact one of the best hotel / resort in my entire travel by far. We were so delighted by the amenities of the hotel - there were 9 pools from different location of the resort with the infinity pool and the pool party which has limited schedule only. The hotel is situated inside a peaceful area. They have private beachfront that has access to the Key hole cave. Clear kayak for photo ops definitely a must try. The breakfast was truly a plus factor with a wife spread of selection. There is a 24hours shuttle inside the resort that will get in you within the vicinity and out of the main gate if you want to go out for night life or just to buy supplies or food at Citymall which was just accross the main gate of Fairways. Lastly, I wiould like to recommend all of their staff who were very helpful, polite, courteous and will definitely cheer you up because they were so warm and super helpful and friendly.
This is now my go-to hotel whenever I have plans of going to Boracay! Thank you Fairways & Bluewaters I'm so in love with ypur place!!! 🥰😊❤️💯❤️🥰

GGuest UserExcellent 5-star hotel, Filipino style. It's very authentic and charming, with access to two neighboring luxury hotels. The staff are incredibly hardworking. They aren't experts at making cocktails, but if you explain what you want, they'll make it as requested. The spirits are good, and so are the bottled wines. There are many different romantic setups and similar options on the beach. The private beach is very clean, and the scenery and sea are magical. Breakfast is quite good, but otherwise, like everywhere else on this island, they don't seem to know how to cook. We tried eating at the Shangri-La and the hotel next door, and everywhere it felt like the chef wouldn't even eat their own food; I won't even bother describing it, everything was off. You really need to find a place with good food right away, otherwise you risk eating only bread rolls! 😁 But the coffee is very good there, and you can take it to go from breakfast. The staff are very friendly. As for cons, there's no late check-out. We were offered a maximum check-out at 2 PM for an extra charge, and after that, only booking for a full day was an option.

CCarmssssOur whole stay was great overall — we really enjoyed our time here!
Check-in was a bit delayed at first because they hadn’t yet prepared the complimentary cake and birthday setup they promised, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The lobby is lovely, smells fresh and clean, and we were served welcome drinks right away while we waited. The staff were generally polite and helpful too.
I did witness one incident though: another guest was having a long discussion about not getting back their security deposit for their second room. It took a while, and the guest even asked to speak with a manager, but in the end it was sorted out and it turned out the guest was right all along. I’m just thankful nothing like that happened to us during our stay.
Location-wise, it’s right on the beachfront — perfect! Our room was a bit of a walk from the shore, but honestly, we didn’t mind it at all. It gave us a chance to move around, get some steps in, or walk off our meals before heading back 😂
The room itself was very spacious and smelled nice, but we did encounter quite a number of mosquitoes and fleas — I ended up with a lot of bites! Thankfully I didn’t get sick or contract dengue, but I hope they can improve pest control, especially since the rooms are surrounded by greenery and a forest-like setting. The shower was also a little tricky to adjust the temperature and pressure, but manageable.
What I really appreciated was their service: they constantly refilled our drinking water and even replenished all toiletries and supplies regularly, even if we hadn’t finished using them yet — not many hotels do that! They also provided free slippers when we asked, and having umbrellas available in the room for us to use anywhere was such a lifesaver, especially since it was rainy season and my husband forgot ours back in Manila. ☔
The breakfast buffet was another highlight — the selection changed every day, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband and I truly looked forward to it each morning.
Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. We will definitely book here again when we return to Boracay — just next time, I’ll make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and lotion! 😂

AAnonymous UserI am generally pleased and satisfied with my stay at Nigi Nigi Too. The staff and cleaners are friendly and attentive.
When booking at this hotel, here are a few things to keep in consider:
- The standard room doesn’t have a refrigerator. Instead, there’s a large refrigerator available for everyone to use on the first floor.
- Free drinking water is also available on the second floor for everyone to use.
- The hotel only provides mugs inside the room, so it’s a good idea to bring your own water container or thumbler.
- There’s no cabinet to store your clothes, but there’s a designated area where you can lay them out.
- Hangers are included in the room.
- I was provided with two bath towels.
- You can always request to clean your room during the makeup room hours.
- There’s no elevator, so if you’re staying on the third floor, you’ll have to take the stairs.
The room is well-equipped with a functional air conditioning system, a TV, a lampshade with a small table and two chairs, and a clean, unclogged bathroom. The bathroom also features a working water heater, a bidet, and a lavatory with complimentary dental kits. Additionally, they provide body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. The WIFI works perfecty fine too.
You can always request a beach towel daily. However, slippers are not provided during my stay. The breakfast is excellent. As a solo traveler, I booked a room that accommodates two people, but I was still able to receive two breakfast meals per day.
My room is located on the third floor, at the very end of the building in the resort. I highly recommend booking a room on the second floor. You’ll be conveniently close to the water dispenser and the first floor. Additionally, it’s just a minute’s walk to the beautiful white beach.
There’s a bar at the hotel entrance, so it might get quite noisy at night. The walkway to the end building is beautiful; it’s like walking through a garden.
The rates at trip.com is cheaper rather than booking direct at the hotel. Overall I am happy with my stay will sure keep this hotel in mind when i plan to go back to Boracay.

GGuest UserExcellent beachfront location with very friendly and responsive staff. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the location and service more than make up for it. There's no currency exchange at the front desk, and a 1000 peso deposit is required at check-in. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. There's a cafe and bar in the hotel courtyard offering various breakfast options and easy snacks. The hotel also provides sun loungers and beach towels. Highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️. I also strongly suggest having lunch or dinner at the Villa Caemilla hotel restaurant (just 30-50 meters from this hotel, towards the port). The service and cuisine there are among the best in Boracay, and it's only slightly more expensive than other places.
