"The hotel is probably in the best location in Baveno; it's beautiful, with a palace-like interior and a musical fountain at night. It's a 3-minute walk from the pier. There's underground parking for €25 per day, but you'll be charged again if you enter or exit the parking lot mid-trip. The rooms have kettles, but no slippers. There's a large balcony with sea views, and it's very quiet at night. The private beach area is large and provides towels, lounge chairs, and parasols. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and you can also swim in the lake. The hotel is very large; some rooms require walking through a long corridor. A 5% service charge is added upon check-out."

"Cozy and somewhat simple hotel nicely situated in Baveno close to the church and the promenade. The pool area is quite small so you shouldn’t plan on taking a day by the pool. Fine breakfast however nothing fancy. You have the possibility to park outside in the private parking area or in the garage. The room we stayed in was quite small but suitable for one night."

" We had a lovely room with comfortable beds and a well-equipped, modern bathroom. However, we were not informed in advance that parking in the underground garage needed to be reserved prior to arrival. Fortunately, there was still availability when we arrived, but the parking fee was quite high. Another issue was the lack of internet coverage in our room as well as on the rooftop terrace throughout our stay. This was inconvenient, especially when trying to plan activities or stay connected. The breakfast was rather underwhelming and did not quite meet our expectations in terms of variety or quality. The staff was more welcoming and accommodating. "

"This beautiful family run hotel has a 3 star grading, but I would give it 4 stars. Superb location on the waterfront overlooking Lake Maggiore, with beautifully maintained gardens with outdoor swimming pool. Being a traditional building, there was plenty of lounge space to relax in air conditioned rooms. The hotel is only 150 metres from the town centre, where you can get numerous boats to nearby islands and beyond. The whole staff are very friendly and cheerful at all times, particularly the dining room waiters and waitress, with great knowledge of English speaking. Breakfast has plenty of choice of good quality food, being self service it’s nice to sit outside in the garden with good access to the food area. The rooms are comfortable, we had a lovely walk-in shower, enough wardrobes and shelves for clothes etc. Air conditioning unit had easy controls and was extremely quiet. There is a good sized car park, there is a lift to all three floors. We would really recommend this hotel in a delightfully peaceful resort of Baveno, much more relaxing than its nearby larger and noisier neighbour of Stresa."
