"We stayed 1 night while visiting family. The room was a reasonable size, comfortable bed, and clean environment. There was a wedding in our first evening but we were not disturbed by any noise. Breakfast was really good but expensive for a buffet style breakfast. Parking is quite tricky given that the area is busy. We became members to get it free. The desk clerk was very quick and organised. Unfortunately, the morning after the wedding, there was a smell of vomit outside the main door."

"A very large group of us stayed on Saturday night. Elaine was great- she was very organized checking us all in at different times as we arrived and she had all our key cards sitting ready, despite being on her own. The room was very clean (you could smell the bleach in the bathroom) & bed was comfy. A very pleasant stay."

"In all respects, the usual comfortable stay. However, for the second time in three weeks, getting breakfast on one of the three mornings was impossible. The young lady on duty this morning had 5 people in at 6.30 all waiting to order their cooked food but was too busy on her mobile phone. I complained to the reception staff the last time but if anything was said, it seems to have had no effect."

Premier Inn Basildon (Festival Park) ★★★

"The staff especially Courtney were very friendly and accommodating. Every need was met with politeness. The breakfast buffet was very nice and varied and conveniently placed right next to reception and the accessible toilet. The bed was spacious and everywhere was clean. Fan and heating provided so we were very comfortable with the temperature. Short walk to all the amenities and entertainment. We could not have asked for a better stay. Courtney specifically was extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Any queries or little problems were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Our stay was a real pleasure and Courtney made our stay so special. We will highly recommend Courtney and this hotel to anybody meet."
