Amazing place! Feels like home.
Place has a great atmosphere, room was very clean.
Welcoming staff who go out of their way to help and give all the necessary tips (Jill you are the best). Breakfast was delicious. Coffee and homemade cookies are served at all time.

The Primrose was so perfect for our needs - what a lovely B&B! The GM Brandon, Anna and the rest of the staff are all fabulous - fun to chat with and very helpful. The Primrose is within walking distance to town center and the sandbar. Two groceries are also within a block. For us it was perfectly situated - enough out of town center to be away from the hub bub but close enough to easily walk in. We had a lovely clean quiet room with a second bedroom for our teenage son so everyone had ample space. Beds were super comfy too. My only "complaint" would be that the room needs blackout shades or blackout curtains as the sun rises very early in Maine! The Primrose also offers a universal mini fridge where you can store some leftovers or medications if need be. Breakfast was delicious as was the coffee. I went home and bought a bunch from Carabasset. So good! "Tea" (iced in summer) is offered every afternoon and both the tea and the goodies are scrumptious. We lucked out when we arrived - there were still two Magic Bars left and boy are they magical!! Their sister Inn also had entertainment on the lawn twice while we were there. As a fellow gardener, the Primrose gardens (as well as those in and around town) were amazing! The Inn and the staff really made our accommodations feel like "home" and we felt SO relaxed here! Brandon, W is still talking about his little car adventure - highlight of his trip - thank you so much and also thank you again for the popsicle - our daughter LOVES it! We can't wait to return next summer!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Primrose Inn! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful, pampering us while there. The inn is so lovely and the food was delicious. Every detail was so well thought out. Highly recommend and we will definitely visit again!

Had a lovely stay here with my family and out extended family, including two toddlers. Staff was excellent and attentive, breakfast and snacks always top notch, and it was a very comfortable stay. Very good location as well and walkable around the town. Would happily stay here again.

Immediately upon entry, it felt like home with the candles and soft ambiance. It felt like fall even with it being cold outside. The staff were very friendly with checking in and checking out. We got a tour when we checked in, and I love the many offerings the Primrose had. Breakfast in the morning in the dining area, tea and snacks in the afternoon, a seating area to watch tv or relax, a water fountain, and an ice machine along with many brochures to help explore the area. Oh and the little soaps from a local company that we were offered in the room and to buy downstairs! We were even offered free glass of white or red wine of our choosing, which was so special for our couple trip! I do wish I could have bought some with card because I did not have cash. The room we had was very nice and spacious for just the two of us. The bathroom was clean which is so important! The view outside was also nice. The tv offered streaming services. Ample storage for luggage. The only "issue" there was related to the air conditioning. It took a while for it to cool down, but it was still a bit warm throughout, but I understand that it is also trying to cool the entire place. Great location that is separate from the busy downtown, but still close enough to everything that you can walk and not have to worry about paying to park! I would definitely be staying here in the future and recommending to everyone! I felt like I was in a Gilmore Girl's episode!

We stayed in room 6 for two nights. The Inn is really nice with a good breakfast, cozy, warm communal areas and friendly staff. The room itself was cozy, with a huge, comfortable bed. We were slightly cold in the room and the air con didn’t really do much to heat it up, but the inside of the unit was quite dirty which put us off using it. The carpet in the room has seen better days and could really do with deep clean or replacement. The walls must be quite thin which wasn’t a problem on the first night but on night two we had a loud snorer in the room next door, keeping us awake throughout the night. Not much can be done about this I guess, but worth knowing if you are a light sleeper.
