Comfortable oversized leather power reclining chairs faces the large smart TV. Perfect for watching your favorite shows and movies. An oversized soft leather sofa is cozy for lounging. Our back yard has outdoor furniture for dining and propane grill.The upper level is accessed via full flight of stairs with railings. There are three bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom has heat pumps that offers independent temperature setting for heating during cold months and AC on warm months. Two of the rooms has queen size bed. The third room has a twin bed over a twin bed (bunk beds that measure 38 inches wide x 75 inches long mattress). One of the room with queen bed has a smart TV. Full bathroom has heater to ensure warm and comfortable experience. The lower level (basement) is accessed via full flight of stairs. It features the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with washer and 2 dryers. This features a comfortable memory foam queen sized bed. There is a small living area with comfortable power leather loveseat recliner with smart TV to watch your favorite shows and movies. This level has its own outdoor exit via full flight of stairs. In just a few minutes’ walk to town, you can enjoy all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that Bar Harbor offers. You can also bring your bikes and leave your car parked. Nut Hatch is a very short bike ride to Duck Brook Road which provides access to the 45 miles of carriage roads and numerous hiking trails in beautiful Acadia National Park. If you’d rather sit back and take a scenic ride, there's the Island Explorer bus service, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, access to the Park's 26-mile loop road is just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, the public Kebo Valley Golf Club is right around the corner.The home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything your family might need during your stay. Upstairs has three bedrooms. There is a king bed in the main bedroom with a TV and en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bath. Park your car and never worry about parking for the rest of your stay! This is a one of a kind accommodation, located in one of the most sought after in-town areas. Built in 1887 as the Bar Harbor High School/Emerson School, and later converted into a Masonic Lodge from 1914 to 2016, this building is seeped in history and fantastic details. This majestic, 7000 SF building has been renovated into two boutique style lofts, one on each floor. If you don't see your dates available, check out our sister property, Emerson House, listing # 4434292This loft, occupying the entire second floor of the building, is called the Mason House in honor of it's previous owners. It is 3500 SF with 15 foot high coved ceilings, hardwood floors, and exquisite original woodwork. Accessed through a private entrance and up a grand balustraded staircase, one enters into the "reading room" with a window seat and a quiet place to read or work (if you must). Off of this space there are two bedrooms (each with king beds and en suite bathrooms). Two additional king bedrooms and bathrooms are located just inside the grand "ballroom", along with a 500 SF sleeping loft (with two queen sofa beds). The living and dining area, occupying the ballroom, is 56' x 32' and features a large seating area, a decorative fireplace, a 65" smart tv, a dining table for 10-12, a baby grand piano and an additional seating area/ game table. A brand new kitchen features marble countertops, Moroccan style tiles, full brand new appliances, and everything needed to cook, entertain and feel at home. A unique pantry/linen/closet space with vintage glass-front closets connects the kitchen to the full laundry room. Off the Kitchen is a large triple french door leading to a large south-facing deck/balcony with a grill (electric grill on the deck, gas grill located on the property outside), outdoor dining and seating.Amenities include air conditioning (in living area and primary bedroom suites, plus ceiling fans in bedrooms), wifi, smart tv, and newly renovated and professionally designed spaces. All beds are king sized. Fine, crisp linens and soft towels are provided.The Mason House sleeps 10-12 in beds/sofabeds and additional persons on a large sectional sofa.
