Four Points by Sheraton Bansko Reviews

I have a special experience with this hotel. So I am staying for 2 nights. On the first night, they gave me a disabled room instead of what I had booked. I have tried to speak to the receptionist but have been told that it is fully booked, so they are not able to provide the room type that I booked. When I checked in, they did not mention anything about that. So I would advise to double check when you get into your room.I have talked to trip.com, and they informed me that the hotel has actually upgraded my room with a balcony. But I don't actually use the balcony and I would like to get the room type that I booked because that is what I need. So trip.com has sorted it out for me with the hotel manager and they agreed to change the room for me on the second night. I would say the room that I booked is much more bigger than the room that I stayed on the first night. There are pictures for both room below. I am glad that trip.com can sort this out for me and the hotel has changed it for me. Otherwise I probably will make a complaint about that. So, I am quite satisfied about sorting out the query. The room is clean in general. However, the pillow is not comfortable at all. A basic selection of breakfast. Location is quite good as it is only 5 to 10 minutes walk to ski schools and the resort. It is close to the restaurant as well. Staff are good, but I found a bit difficult to communicate in English. They can speak English, but I would say only basic conversation. The ski school in the hotel is too expensive. Although they said it is a VIP course but you can found somewhere cheaper in about 5 minutes walk.

nice hotel and location in the centre of old city bosphorus. Stay there for 5 days. but room services/cleaning need to improve.

The hotel was recently renovated, the lobby is nice with the stuff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for a 4 star hotel and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very standard. The room facilities are complete. Very clean. The parking fee is acceptable. 40 euros for 24 hours. The surrounding area is also very convenient. It has everything you need. The price/performance ratio is also very good

New, clean hotel. Good breakfast with very tasty croissants and cappuccino. The spa area is also excellent, open until 8 pm.

The hotel is very new, with clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. The location is excellent, with the business district just outside the door, making shopping and dining very convenient. It is about 300 meters away from the cable car station and there is a large free parking lot next to it. Highly recommended.

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing all the comfort we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent, which made exploring the area effortless. The food was delicious, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. The staff’s exceptional kindness and professionalism stood out the most. We will definitely be returning!

This hotel could be amazing but it’s not. It looks pretty and smells great when you walk in but it’s not 4 star treatment. When you complain you get a superficial standard response but they don’t care. The Rooms are ridiculous hot! Even went you turn off the radiators, you can’t use the air con to set the room to a cooler temperature. So we’d open the window but couldn’t do this at night as it would then be freezing. Had poor nights sleep due to waking up with the heat. I also had a very noisy fridge, which kept me awake so got that turned off after first night sleep. The bed lining is very starchy and scratchy on the skin till you break it in. Breakfast is ALWAYS cold! I was there for 7 days and not once enjoyed a hot or warm cooked breakfast. We made the mistake of going to the evening meal. It says it’s a buffet but you do not have much choice. There was 3 serving trays to pick, one being rice and then a hot plate with vegetables on. The cost for this is outrageous for what it is!! Just like breakfast, it was cold. Don’t waste your money and go and eat in a restaurant in town. For the money you pay I believe you could get better at some of the 3* in Bansko. Also, even though the website says you have Mountain View’s this is not the case for all rooms. We were lucky and did but the majority of rooms do not. So again don’t pick this hotel thinking you’ll have the best views as some are onto other rooms in the hotel. The website is very misleading and I heard a few angry people complaining about this. You get tea/coffee making facilities but no milk to go with it. Also it was fruit teas, would have been nice to have breakfast tea too. However with no milk, just meant i couldn’t have a hot drink in the room. Hot chocolate sachets would have also been a nice addition. Positives- if you want to pay more you can get VIP gondola pass at the hotel. Handy in peak season but cheaper to get a taxi/mini bus up. Hotels put on shuttle bus to gondola. would be nice if in peak season if they could take you up the mountain. Especially for those who don’t have the VIP lift pass. I wasn’t told we could get these so brought my list pass like everyone else at Bansko. Only found out once I spoke to others I met on the slopes. Surely this info should be given when you check in. Location is decent. Spa/pool was nice

Amazing hotel! As a frequent traveler, I find myself in a lot of different hotels all around the world, and I must say that this was one of my best hotel experiences! The staff are extremely welcoming and kind, the rooms and public areas are beautiful and spacious, great pool and spa, definitely recommended for anyone visiting Bansko!

The hotel is at a great location - close to the city center, close to shops and main streets with restaurants and bars, and at the same time close to the gondola cabin. The rooms are spacious and stylish, there is a nice balcony as well as coffee machine and tea. Every day they bring 2 bottles of water as a compliment. There is a nice spa and pool (outside and inside). Overall, the place is amazing for a holiday in the mountains!

We are very grateful to Janitsa for her immediate and professional attention at check-in. She was really sincere with our needs throughout our stay. A lot has been written about the air conditioning, but it has been improved and was available upon request. Most facilities in Bansko do not usually have air conditioning because winter is the main season, but this is one of the few hotels that has air conditioning and is comfortable even in the summer. The facilities have been renovated and the rooms are clean and modern. We planned to stay two nights, but are considering an additional night because of the staff and comfort. If you have an IT visa, you would be super happy if you could stay here long term.

All comments are highly distorted. If you visit the hotel during the week and not at the weekend, your breakfast will be moved from one restaurant to the other without you being notified. When you ask the reception why the guests are not notified, you get an answer from the receptionist: "I can't do anything", instead of an apology. Spa and pool hours are fixed from 8am to 8pm. The reception is also not sure about the opening hours of the pool. It turns out that the outdoor pool for adults is open until 6pm, not the children's pool until 7pm. No one cares that there are guests at the hotel. Anyone who wanted could "melt" in the children's pool. In the morning, the outside pool starts when the lifeguard wants to come to work. You go in for breakfast and after 10 minutes a girl runs up to you, who has realized that she works at the hotel and comes to ask you which room you are from. Extremely poor breakfast variety. In the evening after 9pm there is no one to make you a cocktail at the lobby bar. Overall score:0. No one cares or wants to make you feel comfortable as a guest in the hotel.

One of the greatest hotels i have ever stayed and for sure better than the old and neglected kempinski. Marriot once again made a jewelry. Super comfy and cozy room, clean with nice atmospheric scenery. Everybody is smiley and polite. Highly recommended.

This hotel is the best hotel in Bansko comparing to other 4 and 5 stars hotels. It is a prime Location with a short walk to the gondola and next to all the restaurants and historic sites of Bansko. Best service to the point that they even arranged a personal ride for me when all the taxis in Bansko were busy and not responding to phone calls (as Bansko has only one taxi company). Great breakfast, very attentive chef that we had a pleasure to talk to many times. Modern, freshly renovated rooms with comfortable beds and great Mountain View’s. Modern, upscale feeling lobby with great bartender. Bright, modern hallways. They arranged even laundry for us and personally dropped it off when we had issues with one of the off-site laundry places. They staff is very attentive, smiling and trying their best. We were very happy staying at this hotel as titaniums and would recommend this hotel to everyone that is looking for professionally run hotel in Bansko. I can’t wait for their kids club to be open, as that will be a cherry on the cake.
