It’s actually a really nice place to stay, especially price and quality relevance, great lounge where you can wait and charge phone, clean and tidy, the only issue is that you’ll hear speech, snoring and steps quite loud in your room because the walls are really thing so bring noise cancelling headphones with you but all the other was really good, recommended!🙌

The service staff is very good. I was a little shocked by the room I got😅 The staff informed that the room had no window. The room looks a bit shabby. But the cotton bed is very comfortable. When you sleep well, there is nothing to fear.

The accommodation does not have a refrigerator. The bathroom walls are low. The air conditioner can get in and the bathroom door is half-door and cannot be locked. If you go with 2 people, you have to accept it a bit. The room walls are thin and you can hear the other room talking quite loudly. The snoring is also quite clear. 🤣 But it is close to food sources. There is a 7-Eleven and a market across the street. It is acceptable. P.S. Please update the pictures. They are not very accurate.

Nice place

Hard to find parking The service is not very good. Good, just have air conditioning, just near Suan Dusit University, near 7-Eleven. If you bring your own car, it's better to go somewhere else. The room is very old, with only foreigners staying. Thai people rarely see it. The atmosphere downstairs is like a tavern or bar.

Clean rooms, good service It is close to Wat Thewarat Kunchorn Worawihan Temple.

The property has a restaurant below with a variety of cuisines.

Foreign friends were impressed by the hotel's friendliness.

The accommodation is comfortable and clean. Near the 7-Eleven store, considered ok.

We have been to Shanti lodge a few times over the years since 2000. While the hotel restaurant and lobby has a very pleasant atmosphere, the staff (hotel and restaurant) is definitely unpleasant. They make you feel that you always disturb them. That is definitely a big change compared to the past. They make no effort to understand (and they have a very poor english) and seem to be so unhappy working at Shanti lodge. I will give a chance to another place next time, trying to find the real Thai welcoming people. Also we stayed 4 nights, there is no housekeeping at all, they do not take the trash, add up toilet paper, make bed or change towels (which by the way do not dry easily). I would not recommend anymore. It is far from Bangkok center, and not many things around. close to a pier to take the taxi boat to reach good places and Metro line

I was in Shanti lodge way back in 1990s. Since then it’s expanded and even have a penthouse. This time a met a guest from Hawaii, elderly man in his 70s and when the owner Happy asked him whether he will be coming back, he said this is his last ever trip as he had a terminal illness. This man is happy and going in peace. For me the meals here were great and served with love. The staff always playful and smiling and it’s got great energy A peaceful place away from the crowd. Highly recommend this place if u like a peaceful quiet place to rest.

Simple, traditional style rooms. Quite cheap for the fan room. Very basic but that's expected with what you pay. Nice ambient restaurant/chill area downstairs. Kitten is VERY cute, but not sure on the ethics of keeping the turtle in the very small pond. We walked to Khao San road which only took about 20 minutes but wasn't a very nice walk.
