"Everything was clean and good. The room was large, the back of the building was nice and quiet. Recently renovated, and the restaurant was particularly nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent, including egg dishes and pancakes. Afternoon coffee and several daily newspapers were served in the foyer. It was a comfortable place to sit. Friendly staff. We felt completely at home. Central location – right next to the major sights and nature. Top-notch hotel."

"We ate at the Agathawirt, and both dishes left a lot of room for improvement. The onion roast beef was like a shoe sole, and there were no onions to be found either. The hash browns were clearly from a packet. The €20 vegetable pan was completely tasteless, and the hollandaise sauce was also from a packet. The non-alcoholic drinks are also pretty outrageous at €4.60 a 0.3l."

"I have never been relocated (ie kicked out) of a hotel that I had booked 7 months in advance! When we tried to check in, after walking 7 miles from the last village, we were told that there was now not enough room for us, as he had booked a large tour group! He offered to give us dinner later. He asked us to go to his “sister hotel” another 15 minutes’ walk. When we got there, and checked into our rooms, we realized that we’d basically been downgraded to a hostel! The manager there rudely told us that we couldn’t have our (prepaid) breakfast from 8-9 am, as a large group would be dining then! When we returned for our comped dinner, the original hotel’s manager would barely look at us. My friend asked if we could have (prepaid!) breakfast at our originally booked hotel, and the manager yelled, “No! I already gave you dinner!” Never have I been treated as poorly."

"This hotel really elevated our trip in the surrounding area. The room came with a nice environment, a shared kitchen for reheating food, with a nice dining area with great Mountain Views and. All the rooms have heating and AC, and the hotel was also very close to the train station. The hotel owners are also always eager to help you. the highlight of this stay was when Jasmin helped us plan our activities during our stay, with an annotated map and local insight. This really saved us from headaches and research regarding our visit to the area."
