Pretty close to the station - approx 10 min walk away. Easy access to get to next destination (be it trekking trails/onsen) from the station. Hotaka shopping park is nearby.

The accommodation is as advertised. It is 1 km from the train station, about 15 minutes walk. Nearby, there are 7 takeaway shops, delicious, not expensive. There is a very large drugstore. Stayed here to take the bus to Nakabusa Onsen, the starting point of the mountain climb. Talking to the staff at the counter, you can use Google Translate easily.

The hotel is a fifteen-minute walk from the station, and there are not many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The purpose of this stay is to take a bus from Hotaka Station to Nakabo Onsen for hiking. It is best to arrive before 1600, have a meal, and rest early to prepare for the climb.

Unlike major chain hotels, this is a business hotel with a relaxed and family-like feel.

Taxi fare to and from the train station is 900 yen each way, not expensive. I tried walking from the station to the hotel, stopping by Hotaka Shrine and walking along the waterway. I used Google Maps to navigate the way, so I didn't get lost and it was a pleasant route. The hotel itself is not new, but it is clean enough. The layout of the twin rooms is strange. But I personally like it a lot because it gives privacy to each other. The windows of every room overlook the Japan Alps. Breakfast is served as a set, with a choice of Japanese or Western style. It is beautifully presented and tastes good. Next to the hotel is a take-away restaurant called Hottomotto, which is delicious and inexpensive. Or if you walk the other way, there is a community mall with a supermarket, Muji, and McDonald's. The male and female owners are lovely, friendly, and can communicate in English.

I chose to stay in a hotel near Hotaka Station the night before climbing Mt. Hotaka. It is about a 15-minute walk from Hotaka Station. There is a 7/11 and a large drugstore along the way.

It was good for the price. The room size was large and the cleanliness was also good. Other hotels in front of Hodaka Station did not allow reservations online, but this one was good because it was possible.

Although the hotel is old, it is generally clean. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot, suitable for self-driving. The breakfast provided by the hotel is cooked with its own crops and is very delicious. The hotel staff can speak simple English and there is not much difficulty in communication.

It was my first time staying there, but the staff was very helpful and the room was bigger than I expected.If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay there again.

Climbing Biaogun Mountain is a good choice, with the layout of a traditional hotel.
