Thomar Story - Guest House Reviews

We had a fantastic night's stay and rest at Tomar story. It was extremely clean and the room was decorated beautifully. We loved the themed aspect of our room and the window and view of the river was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after our luggage outside of the check in / checkout times. Tomar is a brilliant riverside town and the visit to the Castle and Church of Christ to see the Knights Templar headquarters has been the highlight of our Portuguese tour.

Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in Portugal. Super central in the historic center, the main street is just a few meters away. The hotel itself is so amazing! Very clean, super fast wifi, great rain shower with very good pressure, spacious toilet & shower area, comfortable beds. All incredibly good amenities. My visit to my most favorite small town in Portugal was complemented with my stay in my most favorite hotel in Portugal. Wish I had stayed longer!

Simply fabulous! In the city center, close to all the tourist attractions and even trains and buses. Super friendly staff! Very well decorated room, very clean and with a superb river view! Highly recommended! Will definitely be back.

Very nice Guest House in the center of Tomar. We stayed one night in two double rooms, one with a kitchenette. Perfect rooms with everything you need for cooking. We also had breakfast and there was a good choice of both sweet and savory dishes. Highly recommended

The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and varied. The service staff has a very good attitude. The nearby park is a pleasant walking route, the location is great!

The hotel is centrally located, close to free parking in the area. Comfortably sized room, with private bathroom. Possibility to have breakfast in the morning (6 euros)
