"Residence Argine is truly a hidden gem in Mahé. We had a fantastic accomodation to stay. The staff is amazing and very helpful. We are really greatful for them. Both the a la carte menu and the dinner is delicious."

"Three years ago my husband and I discovered this wonderful little Mahe Gem! It's only a few minutes drive from the airport and yet it's blissfully quiet. Thank you Linda for being the perfect hostess to two weary elderly South Africans aged 95 and 80, whose departure day in Cape Town commenced at 4am! After two flights, a wait in Johannesburg, a late arrival and a 10pm exit from Mahe airport, what a joy it was to find your delicious late night snack, tea and coffee, a spotless room, a lovely hot shower and a most comfortable bed just waiting for us to crash! There was Lea, your delightful Filipino helper staying up late to welcome us back so warmly. Hotel La Roussette is fast becoming like a second home to us after 3 perfect stays.Thank you Lin for arranging for your faithful and punctual taxi driver, Anthony to meet us again.It is always such a comfort seeing his friendly face in the Arrivals hall. He has become such a cheerful welcoming new friend to us that he no longer needs to wave his Welcome placard in our direction! He happily shouldered all our luggage and allowed us time to withdraw Seychelles rupees at an airport ATM. After a wonderfully refreshing sleep and a relaxing start to Monday morning, we enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast served by your two charming helpers from the Philippines before being transported by Anthony back to the airport for our 20 minute flight to Praslin in the little Twin Otter de Havilland just after lunch. We highly recommend this charming little Haven for all late night arrivals who need to recharge their batteries before embarking on the Seychelles holiday of a life time. Hotel La Roussette is a real Winner!"

"I arrived late in the evening and I was greeted by a staff member who showed me my apartment. I was expecting a small room but was pleasantly surprised to find myself being given a large 2 bedroom apartment that came with a modern shower room and a kitchen plus lounge room! There was air con inside and fans in the bedrooms and lounge room area. Rooms come with clean towels and you get a bottle of mineral water in the fridge, with refills available at the reception area. The kitchen had a cooker/stove/oven, fridge freezer, microwave and cutlery and crockery, so you can cook and eat easily, or go out for meals and supplies as there are plenty shops within walking distance! You also get given towels and toiletries in the shower room. I had a great view from all rooms inside the apartment and I even had a private terrace area! There is a pool available for use anytime, plus they have Aldabra tortoises and you can feed them and take pics to your hearts content! There is also a free snooker table and table football/foosball to play in the reception area! The staff are super friendly, helpful and attentive. The owner was also around on my final day there and he was knowledgeable and had great stories to share. My taxi failed to turn up on a day where I had to be at Eden Island within an hour. I was shown by staff how to download the bus app and top up a small amount on the app for use on the buses. Each journey is 10 rupees which is roughly 50p or less than a dollar. I went to Eden Island then used buses again to go north and south of the island to explore fully! Loved the private setting of this accommodation, with electric gates to keep you safe at night. Perfectly quiet, with good bus links and you can also park your car inside too. Thank you again! "

"We stayed here for 11 nights and the experience was fantastic! The apartments are big with a kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom, all a quick walk away from a beautiful beach with beautifully calm water suitable for children to swim. The area is so peaceful. We didn't hire a car so were reliant on public transport which was very easy to use and convenient. There is a bus stop at the end of the road that will take you to the capital Victoria in around half an hour or to the South/West of the island. In about 15 minutes by bus you can get to Anse Royale beach which is beautiful. The owners were so helpful and kind, allowing us both an early check in and a late check out because of our flight - they also gave us a room upgrade and made our holiday extra special, we're so grateful! Everything about this place was wonderful and we would definitely stay again, thank you so much Peter and Indira!"
