"We stayed 10 days at this hotel, and the service was impeccable. They treated us wonderfully. The hotel is beautiful, with a colonial style and high ceilings. My only complaint was the noise from the air conditioners located on the exterior of the rooms, which is unavoidable in the summer heat. When we complained, they immediately found us a better room. Without a doubt, the best thing about Paraguay is the Paraguayan people! Such wonderful hospitality! I will definitely return!"

"We stayed at Hotel Westfalenhaus for a convention August 23 to September 3. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. Each morning the breakfast was fresh and tasty. On the nights we ate dinner in the restaurant, the staff was very attentive. Every dish we tried was delicious. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Paraguay. "Stayed three non-consecutive nights, always in the same room. Location: quiet and within walking distance of several attractions, however the area appears somewhat run down and one has to walk several blocks to find a restaurant or grocery store. The room was spacious and clean, although quite dated and somewhat gloomy. A/C worked well. Comfortable bed and pillows. No safe. Well located power outlets. Bathroom with very dated fixtures. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Average wifi. Reasonable breakfast (no buffet). Price is quoted in USD on *********** without mention of charging in the local currency. However, cards are charged in the local currency, resulting in a higher price (even without foreign transaction fees). The difference is small, but still it shouldn't happen. Overall good for the price paid, but the price quoted (in whatever currency) is the price that should be charged."
