"We stayed at Hotel Westfalenhaus for a convention August 23 to September 3. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. Each morning the breakfast was fresh and tasty. On the nights we ate dinner in the restaurant, the staff was very attentive. Every dish we tried was delicious. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Paraguay. Thank you for making our stay comfortable!"

"I am very happy with this hotel. I arrived in the city quite early so I asked if I could leave my luggage with them until check in time. They kindly agreed to this. All of the staff are excellent, professional and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. It was serviced every day I was there and towels were changed daily. There was a fridge in the room and the bottled water was restocked every day. There was also lots of room in the fridge for other drinks etc The breakfast was the best I have encountered on this South American trip. It included eggs, meats, cheese, bread, cakes, fruit juice, coffee and more I used their laundry service. I left it with them in the morning and everything was hanging up in my room when I returned in the late afternoon. The location was perfect, a short walk from many sights including the river, cathedral, Government Buildings and the Railway Museum. It's easy to get a Taxi, Uber or Bolt to any part of the city or beyond. It was about a 15 minute trip to the Coach Station. I would highly recommend this excellent Hotel. Thank you"

"We arrived at the hotel exhausted, and the receptionist told us to carry our own luggage. When I inquired about bellhop service, she said she would check. We then asked about the restaurant's operating hours and were simply told to wait! She proceeded to give a lengthy explanation without ever actually confirming the restaurant's hours. Upon entering our room, we found the air conditioning wasn't working. We were told someone would come up to check immediately. After a significant delay, we went back down, only to be informed that their generator wasn't powerful enough. Fortunately, we were granted a refund. However, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel and would not return, even if it were free. The service and attention were abysmal."
